Same thing here in Northern Ontario... being chased in by the rain. Plants that have been put out are happy tho', so that's good and we are also feeling productive inside the house and reorganizing the shed as well. 👍 Soon, we'll be complaining about the heat 😊

Your garden looks great. I’m near Savannah, Georgia so I’m in the midst of harvest season. I harvested all my onions and potatoes already, and sadly lettuce season is already over. Squash, cukes, and cherry tomatoes are coming in right now. I started some okra seeds a week ago, okra love the heat so they thrive when everything else starts to die.

When cheese slices go on sale, buy a few of them, bang 'em in the freezer. They freeze great!! I have saved SO much $$ doing this! ...and make your own ketchup, It's not hard. If I can do it, you can do it!☺☺... once you get thru the first jar, there's no going back to store bought. Also instead of using my homegrown tomatoes I just buy the big tins of tomatoes from the wholessale club/superstore. If you make some and hate it, spice it up and turn it into BBQ sauce. 👍👍 Loving your videos!

Also Spragues campfire baked beans are the BEST!! We can now get them here in Ontario at the Dollarama. They are not a dollar, but they are available. I may have also seen them at Giant Tiger. Great job! What you're doing should be taught in school to each one. So many lack basic survival skills and it makes life harder than it needs to be. Going to do the burritos tomorrow and have everything on hand as well, just smaller tortillas. Keep it coming, really enjoy your approach.

Nothing is ever perfect and beautiful in a garden.. it's all good! I haven't yet been out to our garden at the "rural" property. I'm SURE yours looks better than mine. I have planted some beets and chard, random salads in the polytunnel and onions...tomorrow taters and big onions and peas... today I was potting up eleventy-thousand pepper plants, they won't be planted out for at least 3-4 weeks here. I have run out of red solo cups. Those are my 'go to' now. I'm on the 4th year with some of them and they hold up way better than those black placky seed tray thingys. Is that a word? "Thingys??" 🥴 I love this time of year but it can also be very overwhelming. Love from Northern Ontario ☺

Loved the tour. Yaaaa the weather can sketcherific here in Canada. I think (fingers and toes crossed) we might be out of the woods here in Northern Ontario. We've had some gorgeous days but it's all just slow, like the trees still aren't properly budding out yet. I still won't leave my peppers and cukes out in the the poly tunnel at night. I did that once and man they were grumpy the next morning! Oh well, soon we'll be complaining about the heat and fires. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. Is it always windy where you live? Are you close to a shoreline? I would love that because of no bugs but my hubby hates the wind.

I make my own Chili Mac. My husband has to eat low FODMAP so I use my own canned chili (no beans, no onion or garlic) with homemade gluten free egg noodles and powdered cheese. It’s pretty good and cheaper than if I had to buy the gluten free mac&cheese.

Oh the life of a fisherman... my heart yearns to go to the maritimes. I really believe I was born in the wrong place.

I love you guys! We should be neighbours. The potato planting trench is something I have been pondering for a couple of years now. FANTASTIC idea! It dawned on me when last year when I had volunteer taters grow really big underneath a cardboard path. I thought, "make them darker". I shall do that! Also I want to do a squash trench, because they are going to meander wherever the heck they want to anyways right? I will plant them all in a row and train them towards the fence, then if they want, they can climb. And yes, ours temps here in Ontario have been up and down like crazy too, also in many other places, I watch a lot of 'tubers from UK and their temps are up and down like crazy as well. It'll mellow out soon, I hope. Much love from Northern Ontario, looking forward to more vids!!

We went to Yankee Hill beach in French River, there must have been 75 boats and a few hundred people there watching. It was a great day although a little chilly.

North Rustico is one of my favorite spots in PEI. I love it there. I’m a Maritimer and I love seafood but … I’m not crazy over fish. I hate salmon because it tastes too fishy. May God be with the fishermen and keep them safe.

I love the Summerside Butcher shop, I go every week for all the deals. I usually go there first, then Giant Tiger and lastly Walmart. Superstore/Sobeys if there are any really good deals there, but lately, no Superstore. Have a great weekend.
