I use conibear traps. Conibear traps are VERY effective traps. I've been using them for 7 years now for trapping woodchucks on my property. I've caught 43 in the past 7 years. Took 2-3 years off though for health issues. Got 5 this year along with 5 possums and 3 skunks. I use 160s. Always use a setting tool and safety catch tool when setting them!

I have a Toro SW4200 (42 inch cut with steering wheel). I have a very steep and always cut it up and down. When I cut up to the hill to the sunroom I can't turn around so I go in reverse down the hill. I do this 4 times then I'm clear of the sunroom and can resume going up and down hill until I have finished the back yard. My hill is probably 30 to 35 degree. My neighbor cuts his the same way but has a little more flat land at the top of the hill and can turn around.

The 185UL rated 9.4hp@5000rpm, so if your turning them 5750rpm you should be making a little more hp.

Install 34mm Carb, on Singles. 6. Install K&N Airfilter. 7. Install a better CAM .307 Lift+. 8. Install better HD Valve Springs & HD Pushrods, Locks, Keepers. 9. Install Head Milled for a higher 9.0-11.0 CR. 10. Install Bigger Valves for even more hp. 11. Install a Tuned Header Exhaust 12. I would install the HD Needle Bearing Rocker Arms. 13. Use Mobil 1 Oil! 14. I would use all the different Ceramic/Moly Engine Coatings! YOU can do all of these Upgrades. There are 30+ How-to Videos on CZcams. IF, you do all the upgrades they Cost around $570-$600 per engine for singles. The Lazair MTOW is 450 lbs = 204.1166 kg / 10 kg = 20.41166 Kw needed to Fly Well = 27.37249 hp / 2 = 13.686 hp each! So a 13.6 to 15hp is plenty of hp! Picking the right Prop Lenght and Pitch is more important. The Stock Props were junk, I think they said they got 90lbs/2 = 45lbs. They don't say what these prop specs are but say got maybe 100 lbs/2= 50 lbs per engine from a bathroom scale, oh they are accurate for sure. A 34" x 10 Carbon Fiber Prop was a popular prop for the Lazair. Small Props are very inefficient! Notice, Speed does not really Increase till you change the Pitch. A 32' x 10 (2) Blade using a CF of .75, 77F, and Prop turned 5000rpm = 52.71 lbs needs 6.678 hp. Appox 47.3mph. A 32" x 14 needs 9.350 hp (185UL 9.4hp) and should give you appox 66.2 mph. But is the 185UL actually 9.4hp@5000rpm? Ever seen one actually Dynoed? If you look on Rotax's own Engine website it says ROTAX 185 is 6kw = 8.046133 hp@5000rpm! So are they guessing combined 18.8hp vs actually combined 16.0hp? A 33' x 10 Prop turned 5000rpm = 59.62 lbs needs 7.553 hp. Approx 47.3 mph. A 34' x 10 Prop turned 5000rpm = 67.18 lbs needs 8.511 hp. Approx 47.3 mph. A 35' x 10 Prop turned 5000rpm = 75.44 lbs needs 9.557 hp. Approx 47.3 mph. For these Honda/Clone Singles making 15hp@5000rpm. A 36' x 14 Prop turned 5000rpm = 84.44 lbs needs 14.976 hp. Approx 66.2 mph.
