This channel is dedicated for posting of rail videos. Formerly the Georgia Rail Videos channel, We are no longer based in Georgia and are traveling around the Country living full time in an RV. I will post videos of railroad activity in the locations we visit and hope you enjoy them. I also added older videos I took while living in the Washington, DC area for those interested. Please feel free to post any rail-related videos you wish to this site. Thanks!

Great information!!!
3:49 - 3:55 Who TF decides to put a singular café car at the tail end of an 11 car consist? EDIT: 10:38 - 11:14 Or at the end of a 14-CAR consist? What were the people planning Amtrak train consists in the 80s and 90s smoking?
I wasn’t born in the 90s I was born in 2010
Awesome! I'm hoping to if possible go out and catch some of these old Alcos on the Apache in the coming weeks. How active is the railway today (does it have daily train movements to Holbrook?), and did you have to get any permission to get into the railway depot in Snowflake, online it looks like the road to it is pretty much open. Either way, it's amazing seeing all the old rs36s and centuries still in service, thanks for sharing!
They run as needed to Holbrook.
That’s Sierra Blanca Junction, Right?
Yes
Great video!!!
Awesome, thank you for the great video!!
Perfect Catches
Beautiful!!!
Hey is it okay if I take photos from this video for my Facebook please comment
No problem, thanks for asking.
My great-great-grandfather (who was originally from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania) was employed by the New York Central's Lake Shore & Michigan Southern subsidiary between 1879 and 1893. I guess that explains why I've always considered myself to be a railfan. I've always wanted to visit this museum (since it appears as a backdrop on the Virtual Railfan cameras set up in Elkhart), but after looking at Google Maps, it would take me over FOUR HOURS to get there from my Ohio home, so it likely won't be happening any time soon.
Great video!!!
9:16 it’s the viewliner
Whats the name of the road at 4:25
Pine Road
What town?
South Bend
Note All Chicago Intermodal Trains. Inbound or Outbound are for 47th Street, 63rd Street, Ashland Ave or Landers Yard 65K goes to Cicero Yard West of Chicago then BNSF Takes it to North Dakota other days CN& CP Goes to Rockwell Street or CP Bensenville Yard
Thanks for the info.
We dont Call it Great Lakes Division we call it the Dearborn Division that When Conrail's Office is located in the Detroit Suburb and Also where it Dispatch as well all Locals are B-Series
Appreciate the info.
@@GIMRRC No Problem I grew up in Northern Ohio Toledo is like that Bread and Butter 301 Miles from Chicago only 126 Miles from Elkhart
The lead unit on 389 at 23:09 is 8534 an EMD SD70ACe not an ES44C4
Thanks, typo
Perfect Catches
Another busy day!!! Great video.
Awesome Catches
(4:10) That crossing gate mechanism definitely needs to be fixed before it shatters a windshield, dents a car hood, or knocks a rider off his bike.
Great video! Pretty much sums up all the traffic in and out of Elkhart. Small correction at 36:36 - that is a 266, not 26X
Thanks
You picked a Grade “A” location for railfan! Looks like you’re enjoying this latest adventure! Starting to get hot back here in NE Florida/SE Georgia!!
We head for Michigan in May. Going from this busy place to a line that has one train per week! LOL.
Great video!!! Really a busy day!!!
Awesome Catches
I’m looking for old clips of VRE
Look at the many videos I posted, there's a lot of VRE when it first started.
Thanks
Don't forget it's now CPKC because CP and Kansas City South merge a lot of amazing locomotives including Heritage units and more
I go by the engine number until they start labeling them CPKC.
Good stuff. Used to go to South Bend Arnold Street a lot back in the 1990s when I was a kid. Sure has changed a lot since the Trunk and Conrail days but still plenty of action.
This spot has sure changed a lot. I've watched old videos from here when it was Conrail and CN/GTW. I guess they must have eliminated the road crossing here. It seems there was an odd agreement where Conrail sounded their horns but only a short distance away, CN did not. I appreciate the effort you go to in your captions.
Great video!!!
Awesome Catches
Busy location!!! Great video!!! You still haven't crossed that Michigan line yet.
9:50 Pretty nice to have 4003 leading and 4004 pushing.
I have a friend who lives down there by the track
Cool to see that CN ACE leader 8102, I have seen that one before on accident. But I'm surprised it was leading that sand train because CN's sd70ace's are not equipped with PTC.
Nice work. Up in my territory. Home territory I should say.
Some advice here - if you do decide to come back through my home town on your way back down, highly suggest you check out the Main Line Sub between Louisville and Nashville along I-65. It’s an absolute racetrack.
UP 6853 is a AC4400CW not a ET44AC aswell lol
You are way off on the Wells Fargo unit later in the video, it’s not an ES44AC it’s an SD70MAC
Thanks, I didn’t change that part of the caption from the boilerplate one.
Awesome Catches
Great as usual and a busy place!!! You getting really close to Michigan.
Neat NS is still using their Southern block signals at the diamond.
Cool video. I love how the tracks go right through the university. Kind of fitting to as it's a constant reminder to those young adults that they're doing the right thing in getting an education so they don't have to work somewhere like the railroad.
Busy day!!! Great video as usual!!!
How long is the siding in scottsburg? Where is ballast being placed?
Excuse the lower quality, shot with my iPhone.
Any idea about the Omni gons? Are they for scrap metal? Great video!!!
Yes, Omni is a scrap metal company.
