How To Remove ultra ink security tag from clothing [ Safe and Easy ]
zhlédnutí 81KPřed 7 lety
I bought a pair of jeans from JC Penny, the lady at register forgot to remove the ultra-ink security tag and I didn't want to drive all the way back there, so here is how I managed... I hope it helps as I'm sure this problem may happen to anyone. this is a general way to remove clothing security (anti-theft) tags, whether round or oval shape most of them have the same mechanism. please like, sh...
What’s safe and easy about this 😂😂😂
THANK YOU !!! My wife came home from JC Penny this evening and started packing for a trip to Canada leaving early tomorrow morning. She noticed tags on 2 items she bought for the trip and the store is now closed for the evening. She couldn't get the store to remove them before her trip so we watched your video, less then 10 minutes with a grinder/cut off disc and she is happy! Thanks again. 😀
Ilovetacks
I bought a hat at Disney and they left the ultra ink security tag on. I was able to use this exact method but with a knife and IT WORKED! thank you so much!!
You are a lifesaver! I bought a jacket from JC Penney and when I got home I found this exact security tag on it. I was not driving all the way back to the store to get them to remove it. I used a fine finish mini saw, a folding knife and an adjustable wrench to get it off. Worked like a charm!!
Beautiful! I have a person core and love it!
Man I’ll just take the trip back to the store
I was hoping to see if one person can easily setup this tent. But . . .
Robbing Levis are we.
Thanks man, my sister brought me a Levi button-up but it had the security tag on it smh, this video helped me because its the same security tag in this video and this trick worked. Thanks for saving me a trip and trying to explain myself to store that I didn’t steal lmao
Used a Dremel tool and followed the rest of this. Super easy. Thanks.
I used a hot knife to cut through the plastic, then used the same knife to pop out the spring then out came the balls, no thanks to JC Penney sales associate lol, and hubby’s Levi’s remain intact. Next time he’ll listen to me when I tell him to check for the sensor tag before we are over 30 miles away from the store 🙄🙄🙄
Grabbed a grinder….didn’t have to use the pliers
Worked perfect..ordered a pair off line,And guess what 😣 The store is 40 miles from me too... JUST WATCH YOUR FINGERS GUYS THOSE BLADES CUT GREAT...LOL from past experience's
I have a magnet but how would you use it on these? I have a pair of jeans and I haven’t been able to get it off. I tried using two magnets on the sides but it didn’t work.
Your magnet should be very strong and powerful to unlatch the pin
My mom was watching this video in the other room with the speakers on and I immediately recognized the music. Good choice. Archie is a Classic.
JC Penney left it on . Thanks worked like a charm
Your video was extremely useful. Same scenario as you, I bought some Levi shorts from JC Penny and the checkout clerk forgot to remove the ultra ink tag. I've come up with a different solution. What I'm going to do is to hold the security tag for ransom and ask for a substantial discount on a Levi's T-shirt. If JCP agrees, I'll drive down to their store ( it's an hour away from here ) and return their tag, which I'm sure represents some value to them. If they don't accept my deal, then I'll just remove the tag the way you did.
How did it go?
lol
LOL I noticed on every tear down, you never showed you putting it back in the bag. I'm thinking of just throwing it in a duffel bag, cuz it sure is not going in the bag it came in
Good point, i thought the same at first but honestly everytime I did tucked it in its bag again and it fits easily, they have one side of the bag zipper opens all the way so you first push the narrower end in and then just squeeze the whole thing and zip it. After almost 3 years still doing the same.
I cringed the entire time. Watch those fingers and eyes. Great job.
how big is it when in the carrying case in terms of length and width? is it small enough to put in the trunk of a car?
its about 36 inches long by 8x8 so yeah it can easily fit in any the trunk
@@largerthanbox1235 awesome, thanks!
Can the cashier do it for me
*Easy to set up and take down.>>>**nub.best/2iz3** Took it camping, it rained several times, my stuff stayed dry. I was able to have the window open under the rain fly and didn’t get water in. It was a great tent for me and my backpack. I am 6 ft and was able to sleep comfortably without turning diagonal. The door zipper gets caught on the little flap at the bottom of the door sometimes, but not a huge deal. Good ventilation. I like the pockets on the sides and the loop to hang a light from at the peak.*
Worked perfectly, thanks.
"Safe and easy" (Uses hack saw 1 centimeter from fingers)
Awesome. Thanks! Saved me a trip back out to JCPENNEYS.
That's who just fd up mine! We beeped when we went out the door, I figured it was the sticky sensor in the wallet we just bought for my father in law, but no, it was the ink tab on the jacket. I used a small bladed hobby hacksaw and it worked in under 5 mins. Easy peasy.
Anddddd thats why I’m here watching this video as well. Just bought a pair of Nike running pants there for a Christmas gift and while I was folding them to wrap them, I saw the ink tag 🤬🤬
awesome video !!
With that much mesh, isnt it more than a bit chilly on cold nights?
that much mesh is a huge advantage for spring/summer, and for colder nights we use a warm sleeping bag and extra blanket.. we managed below freezing conditions.
Thanks! I hope you dont mind me asking; how has it held up for you over the last year? I see a lot of conflicting reviews about "instant" tents for all brands - from Coleman, Core, Field and Stream, ect. Some love them; others hate them.
Honestly, I camped around or more than 30 times last year, just camped last week under heavy rain, its really holding up well, I always use heavy duty tarp underneath and clean it before I fold, I recommended this to a friend living in west coast he got a larger one and is having great experience too. I love the fact that its instant setup and fold. I had used regular tent previously and its such a pain to put up all the poles and remove it later on especially if you camp for 1 or 2 nights only if you get my point. I guess coleman tan/black instant cabin tent should be good too based on reviews. but you got to buy the rainfly separately. It really depends on how you're going to use it. yes if I was a backpacker I would hate to have a heavier tent carried with me but as a road tripper, my truck carries the weight.
Thanks again! I'm planning a trip in August to Acadia National park for a week and then on to Grand Manan Island in Canada for another week before heading home to PA. My old sundome met its fate at the hand of younger cousins so I've been looking for a a new tent. Thanks to you this one is now at the top of a very short list. Take care and happy travels!
Good luck and enjoy every trip :)
I lost 2 fingers thanks
….. leather palmed gloves, 2 pairs for 3 dollars at Walmart. Buy these to protect your remaining fingers.
good
I have a bigger Core Instant Tent, and it's awesome. Love it!!! Thinking now of getting a smaller one, like this, for when we want to go solo, car camping.
Lance Anderson it is awesome and so underrated, for solo or couple this 9x7 will be just fine! Good luck
Hi, thanks for uploading the video, it really helps! How did you make the blue shade (?) at 0:27? I mean, how did you connect it with the car and the tent?
@00:24 I had a nylon rope which I attached it to 2 corners of the blue tarp to the car side connecting it to the rooftop bars. holding it up with having the back open. on the tent side, I connected 3 points (corners and middle) of the blue tarp with strings of tents rainfly. it formed an A shape so the rain runs away. hope that helps... Peace
Thanks a lot!
thanks dude
So easy thank you. Bought 2 pairs of Levi jeans from jc penny in Florida when I got home one had the tag on. Can't take em back obviously from England. Did what you said with a dremil electric hack saw. Took all the insides out and it fell off so so easy thank you 🍻
This worked great except I had some trouble sawing all the way through so I did end up lighting the top to make it softer. Once you can get in with your pliers its super easy and quick.
OMG It worked! TY
so many meth head fingers will be sliced after watching this video 😄😄
