Such crisp video! Those halibut are beautiful fish. I have a Chasing Gladius mini (that is malfunctioning now) and its video is nowhere near as good as this. I think I may upgrade and get a new Fifish EVO model after seeing this. Is your fifish still working OK after 4 years?

Geesh, you broke a couple of rules with a night sky timelapse (shot during a full moon and an artificial light source nearby) and yet that turned out bloody brilliant. Thanks for sharing. Love the Northern lights video as well!

Something that the drone does not hold the horizon line well, making frequent somersaults it is bad for observation and orientation...

Is there a setting good to use without it being lapsed ? So it's shot on real time ? But with the night mode type features still learning how to use mine going to Iceland next month

Had the same problem 🧐. Now I strip the thruster each month or when I know they’ve sucked sand or debris up. Once the propellers are off you have full access to the motors just flush them with fresh water then I use WD40 haven’t had a problem since. Regards

Your engine have one wire out of order you have to change the engine. It’s probably this problem.

Har sett litt på undervannsdroner, søkte på Fifish V6 og fann tilfeldigvis opptak frå heimefjorden! Flotte videoklipp! Har alltid lurt på korleis det ser ut på djupet i Syvdsfjorden - no slepp eg å lure på det lenger :)

Great video, many thanks! Can you, please, tell me how much time Fifish V6 will be able to work at very low temperatures (2-12 degrees Celsius, 6 degrees Celsius on average). We plan to work in coastal marine waters from boat at 10-20 meters depth, 1-2 knots speed, with episodic photo and video shooting and taking measurements with laser pointer. Going to use "Distance control" feature to keep constant distance from bottom. Manufacturer advertises "run the underwater drone up to 3 knots for up to 4 hours on one single charge". I suspect for cold waters operating time and workload outlined above operating time will decrease to as little as 1 hour. Am I right on that? Motors and Battery Maintenance Guide by Qysea explains that operator needs to soak and clean V6 with clean fresh water after every dive. We can not do this cleaning on our small boat unfortunately. So we will have to return to land base station to clean V6 with fresh water. And only after this cleaning, as Qysea documentation explains, we can recharge battery. This makes our survey very inefficient: 1 (?) hour ROV operation - run to land base station - clean - recharge - back to survey where we left - another 1 (?) hour ROV operation - .... Can you, please, correct me I am wrong with all these assumptions. Are there any workarounds to increase survey productivity (ROV operation time per day). Thanks!
