They do have Great service and parts Support and the workers have always been kind to me . I have tested the Absolute Extreme Capabilities of most Geoprobe Units on hundreds of job sites. some of the most high profile Geotech and environmental jobs out there and have conquered a lot . The Rigs and Tooling can take a absolute Beating and get jobs done. I am a fan of Geoprobe rigs as a driller 👍

I Have Beat Most Models of Geoprobe Units into the Litteral Dirt on some of Toughest Jobs in the North East ....they Can Take a true Beating . Some time it's not by choice it's just the types of jobs you get into but they can take it . I can't wait to Run there 8150 Sonic . That's one I haven't got to test to the limits yet ...

What is the difference in sampling with dt22 vs. mc5? and how do you know when either is used?
The primary differences between the two are: Size of core - MC5 provides a 1.68” diameter core whereas the DT22 is smaller at 1.275” Methodology - MC5 the entire tool string comes out of the ground for each sample interval. DT22 the outer casing remains in the hole as the sample is tripped out via the center rod string.
@@GeoprobeSystems oh ok and in what cases would you use mc5 rather than dt22 as it seems dt22 is a little more convenient with not having to take out outer casing?
@@qerick9238mc5 is just a faster process when you don’t need an outer casing. DT helps a lot with sands

Can you tell me the difference between the SP16 and SP19 groundwater samplers?
The SP19 would primarily be used with 1.75” rods so the outer sheath is a little thicker/larger as well. That’s the primary difference between the two. There is a little more information here: geoprobe.com/tooling/sp19-groundwater-sampler
We rented this machine and it has been an absolute monster! Our boss loved it so much we are buying one directly from Geoprobe. Can’t wait to have to keep doing mud drilling.

As a medioaceorly Calm Smart Driller in the industry everyday of the weekday or weekend going through hell .. all over the east coast beating the living pissss out of geo probe units and tools in order to get jobs done almost everyday of the week ..you can work these little rigs so hard it's scary it might get you home by Friday 😉 I hope my work place buys one
