Anubis G6 rebattery
Hello, this is my 2nd time i had to rebattery my Anubis so as You can see, the first time i used Sugru, which was excellent, nice watertight and as You can see, i took time to press it into all spaces around the battery (as it is sort of plasticine).
Unfortunately I don't have time lapse of the first rebattery.
Nevertheless, i was looking for solution similar to what the Anubis is delivered with and i think i found the ELASTOSIL E41 made by WACKER plastic rubber that cures @ air (needs moisture in air to cure) and which most important property is that it can cure within 20 minutes at air.
I left it a bit longer and also, next time it will look much better than this time as i was struggling with clogged tip by cured E41 from previous try that was always blocking the fresh one (that's because i have used diode to push it away from the tip:)).
At the end i used sharp edge to see, if there is exceeding rubber somewhere and it was, so i had to cut it.
The ELASTOSIL E41 keeps soft to touch after curing.
Price of the 90 ml tube was a bit above 16 € which is slightly above 8 bags of Sugru.

In latest firmware update of my NAC headunit (21.08.87.32_NAC-r1 (2021.02.03) ) Android Auto forces you to apply parking brake, if you want the search field to be displayed. Also browsing thru recent destinations is after few secs stopped. My gateway now simulates parking brake applied when speed is below 5 km/h.

Very first demonstration of Teensy 4.0 acting as an CAN gateway to disable start stop function on my Peugeot 3008. I balieve it will work on other Peugeot models, but i dont have that confirmed. This also demonstrates snooze library for Teensy 4.0 putting it in deep sleep mode.

Hi, I'm trying is it possible to get CAN codel line for START/STOP deactivation message? And do You connect to BSI/DASH/MULTIMEDIA 3-8 ports or to 6 14?
You must be connected between multimedia (NAC or RCC) and the rest of the bus as multimedia is the originator of deactivation message.

Congratulations for the work, I'm trying to solve the problem of maps in cirocco, I changed from RCC to NAC and put the LVDS cable, but I don't have the maps. No it does not work with the I7 I tried it with my remote control and sadly it does no effect on it :/

Amazing job! Although you could've used focal aftermarkets that have better mid-bass and sound in general.
That's doubtful without focal amp.
@@dusankoszeghy7570 I would go full Focal aftermarket; amp, speakers and sub. There is some cost cutting unfortunately in the stock system, if you've heard focal aftermarkets you will agree. I had two front component Focal speakers ONLY in my previous car and they produced better sound (Sans bass of course, the subwoofer is great) from the stock head unit with no amp, this system distorts quickly for some reason and the mid-bass is not good.

So you use Teensy to input car CAN, modify it and return CAN commands modified into the car CAN bus? Or you use parallel connection? Asking because can't understand how to modify packets
Teensy4 "simply" forwards everything it "hears" on can port 0 to ports 1 and 2, the same when it "hears" message on bus 2, forwards that message to ports 0 and 1. And then, when needed, i modify some of the messages prior to forwarding.

No. In 99 % i am modifying actual messages prior to delivery to either NAC or visual control ecu.

Hello, great work. Can you share more detail about your CAN-BUS sniffing? Which software and hardware do you use?
Hi, that Teensy4 (or any CAN-BUS equipped Arduino) board. CAN-BUS analyser from Microchip doesn't work as it has different spec transceiver.

@@gurcanguler4817 hi, yes, i am connected to radio CAN-BUS. That one is different in at least two ways compared to CAN-BUS the engine is connected to: 125 kbps vs 500 kbps, have different dominant and recessive states. Software is by me modified bidirectional forward sketch that came with FlexCAN library for Teensy4.
@@dusankoszeghy7570 I have Seedstudio CAN-BUS shield with arduino but as far as I see Teensy4 is way much better for this job. I want to play with CAN-BUS with my old 3008 but I couldn't get success for now. I think I will buy Teensy4 for the beginning. But I saw you have 2 other chips. What are they?
@@gurcanguler4817 with that one you'll be able to connect to engine CAN-BUS @ 500 kbps. For radio CAN-BUS you need TJA1055 transciever instead of MCP2551 that you have on your shield. I highly suggest you buy at least Teensy3.2 (one CAN-BUS interface) or Teensy 3.6 (has two CAN-BUS ports). Bear in mind, that you will need 3V version of TJA1055 to be safe on any Teensy (except Teensy3, which is 5V tolerant).

Dobrý deň, úžasné nadšenie, vďaka bohu focal mám z fabriky, predpokladám, že investovaný čas a dielce malo vyššiu hodnotu než si to zadať do objednávky, no nieje nutné aj kódovanie?
Dobrý deň, už počas montáže som si hovoril, či to stojí za to. Potom som si povedal, že túto otázku som si mal klásť pred tým, ako som objednal repro, sub, zosilňovač:) Dva dni som bol v napätí, lebo áno, je to treba nakódovať v zmysle, že nastavenie zosilňovača v rádiu je treba zmeniť na zosilňovač tretej generácie a v BSI je ho treba tiež zapnúť. Schému som si vopred pripravil, inak by to nešlo tak rýchlo, ale kódovanie som mal až na tretí deň. Aspoň som si mohol vychutnať výhody lepšieho utlmenia dverí. Zvuk ma ohromil.
Ešte k tej cene, neviem, koľko to stojí pri objednávke auta, ja som si nemal možnosť vybrať, auto už bolo so štandardom vo výbave. A to je hrozné.
@@dusankoszeghy7570 Focal ma vo výbave ešte aj iné predné bočné sklá, viacvrstvé, no iný zvuk prichádza až lavne z FLACu 24bit 176kHz, ktoré vie prehráť iba výbava s focalom, pravda je, že už som počul v aute lepší zvuk, ale samozrejme auto stálo 3x viac. Auto som si objednával plnkové gtline, kedže som chcel benzín 180puretech, nezaškrtol som iba strešné okno, kedže s tým je podľa referencií problémov až až.. sledujem aj vaše príspevky na peugeotforum.com. Držím inak palce v pokroku a fandím Vám.

Musím povedať, že som dnes počúval Allanis Morissette, tú jedinú mám vo FLAC myslím (aj keď priznám sa, neviem, či je aj vo FLAC rozdiel, ale asi v samplerate) a áno, mp3 nemá tak čisté výšky. Myslím tým, že určite aj ostatné pásma, ale tie je tak najviac počuť. Ďakujem pekne za podporu.

Those were DRL and are modified to turn signal only. I had DRL, as You can see
