I watched it intermittently throughout the day. Thanks for the super long deep dive.
How did I miss the return of the dream team?
He made some good tv shows then destroyed Snyder's Justice League. He's dead to me.
100% agree. Im not the biggest Synder fan but he ruined the entire film.
I have to say I started being skeptical about Whedon when someone brought to my attention that all of his female characters were tiny waifs. Amber Benson was considered "big" which blew my mind since she was, by no means, big. That pretty much tainted him and his work for me. I enjoy Firefly and Avengers and Doll House and some of the seasons of Buffy (I actually did watch the first couple of episodes when it came out, didn't go back until Spike arrived.). I think it would be great if you guys could do a show on the Supernatural fandom.
Yeah he projected what he wanted onto women he could never have. And we absolutely will cover the SPN Fandom! Thats on the list for sure
Having watched the "Lisa Loeb Incident" portion of the episode I missed, I think Alex's hatred of Stay is fair (I disagree with it, but I see can see how the song could become connected to a response of the film). One thing though, Paul should perhaps try watching "In a Valley of Violence," it might cure his anti-Ethan Hawke bias.
That's literally all you have to do. Just watch it. You don't have to judge an actress. You just want to.
I loved your convention stories. Paul your Pedro Pascal story was pure gold.
I loved how low it was
Thank you for all your hard work on this. I wish you had delved a little into the history of the Oscars I realize that your concentration was on the Best Film itself. If Wings were made today, it would be interesting if someone like Kathryn Bigelow would direct it, maybe in the style of Hurt Locker.
Great show guys and for the record 1 - Amazing Spoderman 2 - Homecoming 3- No Way Home 4 - Amazing Spider-Man 2 5 - Far From Home 6 - Spider-Man 7 - Spider-Man 2 8 - Spider-Man 3
A hot dog is a sandwich, but it's also a taco
If it can be altered into a blt then its a sandwitch.
It's a taco
This question has never made sense to me. A hotdog is still a hotdog without the bun. So no, its not a sandwich
Tacos are also sandwhiches
I like to think of it as a really small sub
It’s a handwitch
No. It's a taco.
This information is slander. I humbly request a duel!!!
If that's the case then a gyro is a taco, not a sandwich.
Random CPR...band name. Called it.
Dang it!!
I love you guys!
and we love you handsome Almond!
We love you, too!
Im a fan!
It’s true and it works
The pepperoni interview 🤣
Good show, guys
Used to order cherry vanilla Coke at Woolworths' cafe in the 90's, back when you could get flavored syrup in everything
I use Max, Prime, and Netflix the most
Evil Tony Stark 🤣
Award shows are self-congratulatory. Not a fan
Sorry I missed you guys live
Catching the replay now.🤙🏽
I misheard Paul when he was talking about the "Abigail" trailer and thought he said "There are NO bad words in this trailer, so gather the KIDS around!"🩸 Luckily, they were all here in droves attending my niece's ballerina-themed birthday party...🧛🏻♀️ The bills for the therapy are going to be massive.🤦🏻♂️
Thank you guys!
I missed it live ! Love to see Alex there
Thanks for having us on guys. It was a ton of fun.
Thanks for coming on the show! You guys were a blast!
Catching the replay. 🖖🏽Glad to see Alex A! 👍🏽Thanks for the stream Autumn 🍂 & The 'Stache 👨🏻!
The Stache!!!!
Order of Death: Alex Autumn Paul
1. The Roman Empire is not my jam & I never thought about it. Getting killed on the other hand…. surprisingly more often than I want to share. 2. The “Leaf by Niggle” short story by Tolkien is an amazing “not an allegory” allegory. Thanks for including it in the “Explorathon” Autumn. It is my belief that if you care about the people who you directly impact by your daily actions, you HAVE to find a way to give of yourself to connect with them. Putting too much stock into the importance of your “creation/making your mark on the world” is a fool’s errand because the anonymous people who take in your work ultimately don’t give a shit about you. YOU are equally unknown to them on a personal level. And if your “passion to create” is your excuse to not be good to the people you directly have contact with in your life, then don’t complain when your obsession and self-imposed isolation causes you pain. It’s been my experience that NOBODY sits on their deathbed regretting having “not spent enough time at the office/with the faceless horde that only know their work but not them”. 3. Belated Happy Birthday Liza Cella. 4. Go visit your family and DO NOT punch children in the face Paul.
🙃 "promosm"
