This is a cool commercial! I’d really love to go based solely on this commercial, unfortunately I live over 1,000 miles away 😅
Only 240 views? This is very underrated, it looked like everyone was having so much fun doing it!
wish i could attend!
🍻
I love this, the voice of the kindest man I ever knew! What a shock to hear this!
Those must be Arthur Newell's clocks.
This is my Grandfather!
There's no way.
I read Richard Potter's biography, a very good book on an amazing American.
A lot of people who inherit money always think it will always be there so they live beyond their means. “Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in 3 generations.” is the saying
Did I miss the introduction of who Ms. Szapary is ? I know only that they are cousins but we just assume that she is also a Vanderbilt ?
What a treat. Living history. Thank you for sharing.

I am impressed! You actually know your history! One of my 12th great grandfathers, John Pease was one of the first people in 1638.

Adam Hodges-LeClaire is a incredible living historian. Top notch.
The American Golden Age is over!
Gilded.
@@cindymaceda2999 Whatever! I am not American
@@DennisFreitas-bn7nhThere was a distinction between Golden and Gilded because that era was named Gilded due to the “robber barons” making unbelievable fortunes on the backs of child labour, 16-hour workdays, 6-day workweeks with no unions to fight for health insurance or education or good housing. So the Vanderbilts, Astors, Rockefellers lived in mansions with lots of gilding but they were considered new-rich. JP Morgan was said to be the most hated man in America.
@@DennisFreitas-bn7nhIf you get the chance, view “The Gilded Age” mini-series (HBO) with a wonderful & humorous screenplay by Oscar-winner Julian Fellowes. It is a thinly-veiled re-telling of the rivalry between the Astors and Vanderbilts. It shows the inequality of the classes and the rise of changes in labour laws.
I love History. I lived in Providencie R.I. for 3 years.

Hope this can reach Matthew in some way. He got a photo of the wrong coat from the swedish army museum. The one he shows are the 1687 standard issue uniform for the swedish army, the four french coats he talks about are different coats 😶
Joshua Mason has exactly the face and body I would love to have as my own, too bad we can’t switch bodies

Baka my days we used to eat boots for dinner. I’m just kidding.
I liked how they use the guns :)
I just read the book. It is excellent as is this video presentation.
Wonderful presentation. Jack Kelly is certainly an authority on this battle and his passion for the subject is obvious. His remarks in closing were excellent and much appreciated. 🇺🇸
Who were the Fifers in the backround music?
Fisher's Hornpipe, performed by the Old Guard Fifa and Drum Corps.

I am a CUFFEE I’m from Virginia according to my great grandfather who is George Cuffee we as CUFFEE’S are all kin in Virginia there’s a town called Cuffee Town. I would like if possible I can get information on Paul Cuffee. We were owned by the Solcums story has it that they taught there slave how to read write and the land they put them on he allowed them to keep the land. I see there are Cuffee in Massachusetts I’m wondering can I get information on this. I was told that we were free so Cuffee kids were not slaves.
I'm curious about this green coat. It's really made like in the 18th century, down to the details. Where did you buy it, or maybe you did it yourself? Nice video btw.

Anderson Cooper is a detailed oriented journalist. He covers all angles of the news. His emphasis has always been on getting the facts , showing bravery, understanding and enthusiasm for his work. He deserves awards for journalism.
Nice presentation, thank you!
Can't wait to read this. (Please work on your vocal fry.)
I am from the South, and we never discuss anything substantive in our families. 😂
A C’s justification of the irresponsible CNN Trump interview was pathetic. Telling people who voiced their opposition to go back to their silos was ridiculous. Lost all respect. Now all I hear is blah blah blah
Nothing mentioned about Gloria or family’s involvement in the occult.
The masks were so authentic 😂
