How do you go about making the “point” in front on the basque? Do you angle all layers in front like that? It seems like the best way to make the point of the bodice lie flat!
The layers are flatter in the centre, I just position the point over and stitch around so there is no bulk underneath. There’s a basque at the base holding it all together

I want to make a tutu, but your video was very helpful. Thank you! How much should I calculate for the fabric requirement of the tutu layer? Would five times the waist circumference be appropriate?
