Sorry about that but it really has no shock play at all and the fins on the compressor wheel are good Billet aluminum
i waited and waited watching this video and you never pulled the cover off of the compressor so i could see the quality of the compressor wheel. no mention if it is billet or cast. and how many fins. and if there is any shaft play. what the hell thats the most important part.

I have a tdi version a4 b5 afn, im doing upgrades on brake side cuz to much heat to handle atm, but the back is kinda weird to me cuz how do you keep ABS system ? My back rotor have the all thing (abs) on the rotors it self, any tip?
I'm really not too sure about the TDI brake system but I think it's the same

How did you installed?
Remember guys get a diverter valve that can make sounds like that because the car needs a diverter valve to run properly
I have a blow off valve and the car still runs properly, can you explain?
@tgamet796 the diverter valve sends the excess boost back into the motor to help with running smoothly and it helps with fuel economy, if your car is stock then definitely a diverter valve is best

Yes you can still hook up the parking brake all you have to do is adjusted from the e-brake itself

It makes a pretty big difference when you're slowing down coming up to a turn quickly and with the tune that I'm getting I'll be running somewhere around 300WHP

All I can really tell you is to check your local scrap yard for an S4
I like some of the things you've done man. Real tasty work. I love the colour, the red rear bumper lip should go the same as the rest of the car, imo I'd ditch all the red trim around the wheels and rear lip. But your car so do as you like. Cant wait for the next video 👌
it did have a lot more red on it😁 but the red strip on the rims I can't get rid of that they came that way

This video helped me SOOOOO much, I just wired these up today while repeatedly watching your video. You were right, that connector that comes on the headlights does NOT fit up. I think the only thing I might do in the future is rig the Halos up with the parking lights, so I can run the orange with the halo rings. But it all works based upon your wiring outline. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got any videos on how to remove the alternator from these 1.8 audi a4 quattros without removing fans or front end? Closing thing I’ve found suggests removing the belt and some hoses to get at bottom bolt but he never showed himself doing it
If you remove the hose for the intercooler going to the throttle body it will give you enough room to get the alternator out
Garry Giordano Ok, next question is I went to Oreileys and had them scan to confirm the voltage regulator was the culprit. Went to an autoshop and they claim you cant just change the voltage regulator and that you need to change the entire alternator l. Obviously thats a bunch of bs but I must ask on a scale of 1-10 how difficult was this job for you? I’m some what of a novice but I can follow instructions pretty well and have done majority of work on my audi. The part I’m mostly worried about is reattaching alternator, seems like reconnecting all the wires could be cumbersome due to space limitations.
@@SCRATCHONEMORE Obviously you can do it yourself. By changing just the voltage regulator. For them to tell you you cannot change just the voltage regulator is false there. Just trying to get money off of you. And on a scale from 1 to 10. It was a little bit of a bitch. I give it a 8.
Any auto parts store can tell you if The voltage regulator is the culprit. The biggest issue with getting the alternator out. Is the one bolt right next to the fan. It may not want to come out all the way. You can get it to slide in between the fan blades and loosen up just the top four bolts. Of the radiator support so you can pull it back just enough to get that bolt out the rest of the way. It's not very hard. All you have to do is remember. What part went where? What bolt went in what spot what wire connected In a specific way Just pay attention to what you're doing.it. And remember it's the reverse process of putting it all back together.
As a person who has never done al alt before besides on my wifes camry, it was a breeze, super simple with the right tools. Took me about 15min to get it out, took me a little longer to put it in but thats because I was trying to see why it wasnt working
