Drone Cam - 85ft Tree Cut Down

Tutorial: Building Lightweight I-Beam Sawhorses
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 9 lety
These sawhorses are cut from 1x4's (the I-beams) and 1x3's (the legs). They weigh ~8 lbs each. They make a good Saturday project, and one set can probably be built in under two hours by first-timers, or I'd expect a carpenter to be able to pretty easily build two sets in less than two hours. Of course, this time frame doesn't include the trip to the lumberyard for the materials.
Tutorial: Weaving Chainmaille Keychains (out of European 4-in-1)
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 9 lety
For weaving Box Chain, M.A.I.L. recommends using rings with an AR of about 5.1, but it can be made from rings with an AR of as little as 3.8. Their website also states that Box Chain is square at an AR of 4.8 and above, but rectangular at any AR below that.
Tutorial: Weaving Half Persian 4 in 1 - Fast & Easy
zhlédnutí 306KPřed 10 lety
Ring sizes: From the M.A.I.L. website, they recommend using rings with an AR of no less than 4.7 for this weave. I've used 18 gauge (SWG) 1/4" rings & 16g 5/16" rings. Both of those sizes have worked well for me. 16g 1/4" (AR of ~4.1) didn't work.
Tutorial: Tying A Bowline From A Slipknot - Fast & Easy
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed 10 lety
The bowline is a common go-to whenever attaching a rope to something is the goal. They work well for truck tow loops, bucket handles, trees overhanging cliffs, and even people. They're pretty useful, and this method is easy to remember and fast.

Good video, but for anyone watching it is actually faster if you close all the blue rings before you start. Each time you add a grey ring, put two closed blue rings on, then close the grey

Holy Guacamole. This saved me so much time and aggrevation. This was one of those weaves I rarely do because starting it was difficult. With this tutorial, now I will be making a lot more of this. Thank you so so very much.

I realize this was posted 10 years ago but I just have to say yours is the clearest video on Persian 4 in 1 weave. I have watched A LOT of Persian 4 in 1 vids and well suffice to say yours is the clearest and easiest to follow. THANK YOU! It is a beautiful weave but not easy and I am very happy to have found this vid!

Get your chapstick handy, cause I could kiss you too. I’ve lost count how many other tutorials I’ve watched. I’ve unload chained so many times I’ve had to toss jump rings too marred up. Thank you for using those giant visuals, they really helped me understand exactly where the rings go.

Upon first watching this I was I was like “it’s so annoying that this guy sounds really sure that I will eventually get this weave after watching this video cause I am a total idiot”. I racked my brain watching it months ago, couldn’t get it, and accepted failure. I came back watched it again and was like “hol up, I get it!” And it clicked. Of all the HP4 how to I’ve seen, this has the simplest, most straightforward approach-for me at least. Using the large rings to demo it was super helpful too! I can’t thank you enough man! 🖤⛓️

the first time i saw this tutorial, i was able to learn it without even knowing how to do a persian 3 in 1, i understood this one quickly, and then, later, after not being able to successfully understand other tutorials on the persian 3 in 1, i come back and using this, i was able to understand it- what i’m trying to say is that this is an amazing tutorial! stellar job!

I find that its easier to start big (larger rings) larger rings are much easier to hold and then you can begin to down size (to smaller rings of desired size) b/c once your passed the initial portion in the beginning of the weave of trying to hold everything, not being able to set it down etc... its a breeze.... so I always keep a portion over what I will need as a starter for the next time.....( you can up-size or down-size from what you left off last time.) Hope this is helpful to someone :) Happy New Year everyone!!!! Stay Safe.

I gotta say, as someone struggling with the most complex part, the adding a new pair, the fact that this video opens with that when you don't know how to set it up, and then only spends like 5 seconds on it later on when you're actually trying to follow along, is super frustrating.
