Hi Jen! Can you make a video about using sign language interpreters and best practices when on Zoom?
Wow
Thank you for sharing your story, I hope you achieve all of your dreams!
Niiiiice... Enjoyed this.
Fantastic video!
Using assistive technology is an especially difficult problem for those with disability that's not obvious to the public. This population, who I work with as a Relationship Coach, Marriage & Family therapist and Executive Board member of the Invisible Disabilities Association, is in awkward position, as you know. I will also be spreading this webinar around, I appreciate the resource you've given all of us.
I forgot that I was in this!
I'm spreading this. Thanks for your wonderful work.
wow what a heartfelt story :( i pray that your life becomes better,.. we all walk thru life and think we have it bad but then you listen to a video like this and it draws on your heart strings, this is a very sad video but the truth about such things must be known , i am a biker thru and thru , my name is ken, i would ask anyone who would like to chat about these things or anything else im there shovelheadfreak@gmail.com thank you for such a inspiring video
This comment is for Mr Herkert: I am a father like you...and speaking man to man.....you need to stop thinking of this video as a personal stab at you. It is not about you! It is about the tragedy that happened in the past and still happens to others today. Elicia has gotten over it, and has triumphed over mistakes by family and society. She holds no grudges. You sir, need to man-up and accept what happened in the past and leave it in the past. Please open your arms sir and let her back in.
This is my darling woman who made a digital video about herself and her struggle in her earlier years. I am so proud of her and what she has accomplished in her life so far. To flash forward to now, Elicia drives a Harley to work in the summertime. She works at a non profit agency helping the homeless and disabled to get assistance, and to top it off she has a degree in computer science and fixes computers at work and at home. I am so blessed to have her in my life.
To clarify, I am told this is not twethert's actual daughter. twethert: Did you mean the story reminds you of own your daughter?
Hi Joe!!!
This is good, I don't know why its only 3 stars.
this is not a movie. its a slide show. no moving pictures. just still pictures. nice tho. like something from PBS.
This is a great video. I saw it friday at the recovery council, and dropped by to see it again.
This is so good. I hope everyone shares it with everyone they know. Things like this still happen, I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I know it was hard to revisit this part of your life. You have great courage. Thanks for sharing with the world!
I was looking for something else but this was really nice.
