Visit Vienna right before Christmas!
I live also in Vienna, no offense but prices are much higher for a family.
Terrible design, terrible quality
You either love or hate the design. There is nothing in between 😂 Quality wise, I have never seen a similar structure before and the built quality looks pretty solid to me. Every new car goes through minor improvements after delivering their first 1000 cars and the CT hasn’t done anything different. Mass production will look different.
Aged like fine milk😂
Radhe Krishna radha krishna vah.supr ok.
Crime is increasing quickly, so are living costs. Health care is getting worse(crazy waiting times, appointments can take months), job opportunities worse, more foreigners who speak zero German and aren't even trying to assimilate into Austrian culture. Overall it's getting worse that's why I left, I see the overall trajetory of the cities as CLERALY downhill. It's still a good city to live in, but not as good as it used to be, it's a sinking ship and I probably won't move back. Btw I am a native Austrian but from Upper Austria
Wiener Rindfleischfabrik?
absolutely agree with all said... i was there last month and the city is amazing! using of public transport was so easy and fun... yep and water is everywhere... restaurant are expensive, thanks for the website tip, i plan to visit vienna again and again!
Great to hear!
On weekends and holidays you still can go shopping at some of the larger gas stations (who also sell food and beverages) or to one of the major railroad stations (like the Westbahnhof). At the lather you will also find a 24/7 supermarkets. The goods are just a bit more expensive.
Only have 3 full days in Vienna, looks like no chance to visit local hangouts places 😢
What exactly are you looking for?
Hi! Thank you for your videos, they are inspiring! Did you try L'Amour du Pain croissants?
We tried it once couple of years ago but have to go back. Is that your favorite one in Vienna?
Indian Veg Food options please
When it comes to Indian Food we're slightly biased :) because Khyati's parents own an Indian restaurant on the Vienna Danube Island :) In case you wanna check it out: maps.app.goo.gl/8rYVWwNZG5UPW8WC7
@@KhyatiPuria thank you so much will do that soon 😊
Alternatively you could also visit their other restaurant in Klosterneuburg: maps.app.goo.gl/Dh69m8DDtabJbbSj7?g_st=ic
Vegetarian Food Options in Vienna please, and which Currency to carry as you mentioned to carry cash ? What about USD or EURO ? Where to Exchange ?
Definitely carry EURO - not USD. Don't have personal experiences with exchange offices but hopefully you can really on Google Reviews here. We personally love Revolut for withdrawing foreign currencies. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a convenient way to withdraw foreign currencies without the hustle of exchange offices. Come to Vienna to eat authentic oriental food! Then why come to Vienna at all?
I can't imagine travelling without trying the food of the minorities in that specific location! Every time I visit South of USA, I'm looking forward to the Mexican food. Every time I travel to Paris, I'm looking forward to the Middle Eastern and North African cuisine. It's part of the experience I guess...You can't disagree that London has some of the best Indian food worldwide :)
@@KhyatiPuria Many people in Vienna would happily forgo oriental food if it's the price to get rid of rapists, drug dealers and radicals from these countries. Of course tourists rarely become aware of the issues a tourist destination has. If I see how Vienna has changed for the worse in the last 10 to 15 years it makes me want to puke.
What do you want him to eat ? Käsekrainer, Leberkäse? both stink :)
@@josefj7168 Du stinkst auch, du Stinker!
I appreciate your suffering eating for the channel😂
It's a pain :) that we love :)
Hi! Do you have a video about what to do on Vienna with a toddler / children? Thank you!
Did you check out this one already? czcams.com/video/Sl7E3gdm9q4/video.html I hope you find it helpful!
@@KhyatiPuria this is perfect thank you!
Ive been to Vienna for over 30 Times and its always interesting about the Food. 8 out of 10 FoodVlogs are always about the same ... Schnitzel, Sachertorte and Würstel and the Cafe Central. Typical Tourist Spots. But you show it .... Vienna has soooo much more to offer. Food from every Culture and THATS whats all about. Amazing Video.
Appreciate the feedback :)
I Live in Vienna and have no idea why people like the Sachertorte , i Always laugh when i see tourists waiting in line for 2 hours near hotel Sacher and Cafe Central .
❤❤❤
for everyone interesteg in youth culture, here are some austrian bands which are popular right now in Austria. Here is a list and an example-song: Bilderbuch ("Maschin", "Plansch") Leyya ("Zoo", "The Fall", "Solitude") Wanda ("Columbo", "Bolognia") Naked Cameo ("Shangri La", "Dead Weight") Sharktank ("HAPPY", "Too much") Josh. ("Cordula Grün", "Von dir ein Tattoo") Folkshilfe ("Mir laungts", "Maria Dolores") Pressyes ("Atlantic Ocean Spray", "Years") My Ugly Clementine ("Who", "The Good The Bad The Ugly") One ticket should not be more than 40€. Most tickets will be more like 25€. Because "big bands" in austria are still kind of "small" compared to Coldplay, Rammstein etc, but we love them. If you have the chance to visit a concert, do it :D
I've heard someone claim that vienna has the best falafel west of the levante. Regardless of how true that may be the middle eastern food here is underappreciated. I wouldn't want this market to get gentrified into another tourist trap either though.
Falafels are great here, but I think Paris is next level when it comes to Middle Eastern cuisine.
@@KhyatiPuria Oh I can easily believe that as I can't speak from personal experience. It was just something that stuck with my from another travel vlog I watched a few years ago. I think it was a brit who had been around the middle east. Since then it just stuck out to me that most travel vloggers focus on the same five "local" dishes. I just think this is more representative of how we really eat here than schnitzel, gulasch or stelze every day.
@@Todesnuss yep totally agree. You could have an amazing schnitzel at 500 different restaurants in Vienna but there is sooo much more to try than just the local dishes. I love Austrian cuisine but i also love the diversity.
Go to the West of Austria 🫣😅✌️💪🇦🇹
Thanks for sharing, we also live in Vienna! Would love to connect if you are open to it! Also on FB and Insta!
don't take the s7, take cat instead. you don't want to see people after they have been working for 8+hours and they don't want to see/hear you. cat is like a peace offering
also interesting input! Makes sense and I can understand. If you're on a vacation, you want the more comfortable solution, even if it costs more. Fair point.
Stimmt. Die "echte" Sachertorte ist furztrocken
Leider...
Thank you for this great video. Specially The Truth Café recomendation and it's amazing San Sebastian cheesecake. We visited 2 days in a row.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Why don’t you start guided tours. I am in Vienna 15th to 22nd and would like to avoid the usual touristy things. Your video has added to my confidence!
15 to 22 June
We're already working on that :)
Oooo really nice😊 Thank you both for this video ❤
Glad you liked it 🤩
We want food tour!🎉😊
Soon!
Thank you so much for your videos! I’m going to Vienna in the summer and it’s been helping me plan so much! Really great, definitely will put Bao Bar on my list to go to ❤
Thanks for watching our videos! Enjoy your trip!
Nice ❤ personaly never liked Sacher's Sacher, its nothing to write home about...never tried Oberlaa, will do so soon... what about Demel? definately tastier than Sacher...but my family old recipee version is the best i've eaten so far, total chocklaty moist and a proper slice height n size.
Never tried Demels Sachertorte but normally I like their cakes! So definitely have to try it out. We love homemade cakes 😍😍
Hello, what is the average price of a gym in Vienna? Thank you.
Average not sure but i think the cheapest one starts at around 30 or 35 euros and goes up to 150 or so?
@@KhyatiPuria thank you!
The prize for Europe’s best Pizza was recently awarded to a Viennese pizzeria. I’m not saying where it is, as it’s already very busy, other than to say it’s not in the city centre!
It’s a good one but agree way too busy. We have plenty of outstanding pizza already in Vienna, that’s why we haven’t been to the famous one in a long time. Not ready to queue up for pizza.
Not so long ago, it wasn’t just Sundays! When I first came to Vienna, 22 years ago, Nothing was open on Sundays, other than bars, cafes and a couple of supermarkets at the Prater.Until about 15 years ago, supermarkets were closed at 6pm and on Saturday afternoons (except for the Prater and the airport, but the airport is a bit far to go for milk and bread!). Much to many people’s horror, there is now talk of opening shops on Sunday! Even the non-religious appreciate the one day in the week when everything slows a bit. I used to live in Oxford, which has opened up on Sundays for the last 30 years or so, which has made Sundays one of the most crowded days in the city centre. Oxford has as many tourists as Vienna, but is 10% the size, but when you add lots of shoppers, it gets too much! Don’t open on Sundays, Vienna, please!
so clean and beautiful
it truly is 😍
Hi. JSR We are coming to Vienna from 7-12 June! Travelling from. Manchester
Enjoy your stay in Vienna! The weather should be on your side :)
Thanks for taking us on a nice nostalgic tour of Vienna! We miss it 😪
The biggest mistake is to come here! Let’s face it, it’s overrated, expensive and above all, boring as shit in the tundra! Cheers and don’t thank me, i wont’ t charge✌️
New subscriber here! Really enjoyed this video. I found this video when searching for whether I should learn Hindi or Farsi first. Based on the vocabulary you all selected, it seems like Hindi has more influence from Farsi than vice versa, but I'd still like to learn both languages. It was also very funny to see when you misunderstood each other and to see how just one small difference in pronunciation or context can change the meaning. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
😂 wow thanks for taking us back to this almost vintage video. Thanks for watching it! Yes we will definitely also create more content like this.
Your videos are life saver. New follower here from the Philippines. I’ll be in Vienna on Thursday ❤.
Appreciate it! Enjoy your trip!
Ich kenne das😻
Thank you for taking the time to answer to our questions!
Hello! Does 7 day ticket get me from airport to city center as well? Thank you for your time
Thank you for the question. To/from the airport you need an additional ticket on top of your Vienna ticket. More details in this video: czcams.com/video/A-caY6pg_tk/video.htmlsi=08W63vYXv2i_EvqC
Hi, please suggest, where should I book my hotels in Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck . I will be using public transport to travel Austria .
I don't have so much experience in Salzburg and Innsbruck but in Vienna, we can highly recommend the Bassena hotel. Well priced and great location with amazing connections to Vienna city center. www.trip.com/t/aihxomZfrT1
I would recommend a raincoat because most of the time it is too windy for an umbrella
Very true! Good point thanks
