adding 4 feet to my trailer
I need to pick up a 22 foot load with a 16 foot trailer. So I extend my trailer to 20 feet with the ramp, some scrap steel, and some bolts. I'm not the first to do this, nor should I be. :) You can do it too!

pulling down a stubborn pine tree with the tractor and snatch block. I don't want to push it from the other side because it what if it pops loose early and lands on top of me? No thanks. Obviously I don't want to pull it in the direction I'm driving, either. tractor forks, the poor man's grapple

Need to move some brush, but can't *fork* out the cash for a fancy grapple? I took a chance on these forks, and I'm very happy with them! I got them from Bucket Solutions (I am NOT affiliated with them in any way) bucketsolutions.com/7spear-ultra-fork.html I'd still like to have a grapple someday, but these forks have definitely stepped up to the task for the most part. Worth every penny!

fixing my tractor

My Yanmar SA424 suddenly lost power while I was working. Would die as soon as I tried to do anything. Turned out to be fuel starvation - clog in the tank. Not Yanmar's fault; it was my fault. This is how I fixed it.
making a trailer hitch for my tractor bucket

Need to move my trailer into a tight spot (too tight for a truck) so I can haul some construction debris to the dump. I don't like the clamp-on style hitches on the market, but I still want something that "clamps on" with no bucket mods. 1. I can't see them from from my seat on the tractor 2. They are known to bend the bucket blade 3. Their lift point is a bit far forward, artificially increasi...

Super filmik 💪👍
thank you!
Thank you my guy !!!!
I can't believe that. You just saved my life
Nice work, looks like a real pain in the ass to get that tank off but could be worse.
Yeah sure buddy, "changing" a catalytic converter. The feds are on their way
Nice to see poor man solution. Right up my alley. Grapple definitely not in my budget.
weld or bolt on a piece of 2.5 inch tubing 3/16 wall. brace bucket under tubing to keep bucket from bending
Looks handy for the next zombie apocalypse also, 😂😂😂
Looks like IAM gave up their website. Are they still in business?
So how’s the catalyt working out? Still going strong even being kind of cheap?
Nope, it lasted about 2 years. Got another cheap replacement and will do this again in another 2 years prolly. Kind of a hassle, but a "good" catalytic converter is like $1200!! Fortunately these are easy to replace on this car.
@@danielames7611 I hear you man on the same boat I find it hard to pay 1200 I’ll go this route do you know which one you bought I searched them up and a lot of them come out
Forks look good but cannot find the vendor?😢
I hope you’re going to put that wiring in conduit and bury it, you know critters are going to chew that stuff up.
Not sure what year your car is but it looks very similar to my engine
I have a 2012 Honda Civic LX 1.8 l. I want to try and change it myself and buy one on eBay but I'm afraid that once I do it that it won't pass emissions because it's an aftermarket?
I'm not aware of aftermarket cats having that problem. Passing emissions is kind of the whole point of replacing the cat, whether oem or aftermarket. The one drawback of aftermarket that I'm aware of is that they don't last nearly as long as a genuine oem part. The cat you see me install in this video died after 2 years. I'm due for another one already. A genuine part would still be functioning. If you don't mind swapping them out every 2 years, cheap ebay cats will save you a lot of money. If you want something that has a much better chance of lasting a very long time, then you'll want to spend the extra money (A LOT more money) on an oem part. Whatever you decide - good luck.
@@danielames7611i have the same car i’m in California think that Cat you bought would work on mine? thanks 🙏🏽
@@ERSLIFE-we1mg mechanically, it will work just fine. Now I don't know anything about CA emissions law, so please do your research for your location. I'm just "a guy on youtube". Never trust a guy on CZcams. :)

What if front loader doesnt want to work?
Well I'm no expert by any means, but if the front loader doesn't work, but you can still drive it around, I would suspect the joystick mechanism. If it won't drive either, you either have hydraulic leak, or your pump is dead. If you can get it to a real expert, I recommend that above my advice.
I think my civic doesn’t have that part 😮!!!
Yeah, but not when it’s in the engine compartment!
Another video like this said not to use anti-seize on the hardware that mounts the Cadillac converter to the block
Subscribed! I bought a new SA425 about a month ago and have been just learning how to use it here and there. Only has 20 hours on it now but I definitely enjoy seeing others and the way they are used/modified. P.S. I love your outro... "Let's go find something else to do!"
Can you possibly help me? I have an 06 350z vq35 (DE) and I’m getting a code p1084. I changed the the camshaft position sensor on bank 1 bc I had got that code first and it’s a straight plug. I changed it and once I put my battery back on I received the code p1084. I researched it and found out it’s a code referring to the camshaft position sensor so I assumed it was on the driver side so I ordered it (the one with the angle) and when I pulled out the sensor on the driver side it’s also straight and I don’t have any sensors on that driver side with and angle. I have video and pics I just can’t upload them for you to see. Is that possible or am I missing that sensor with the angle. The one on the driver side says a29640 c20 on it and when I look up that part number it says camshaft position sensor for Nissan
Now ur rams are super weak
How long are those spikes?
Exactly 3 feet
For the past few months, my 08 civic check engine light has been coming on for a day or two, then going off for a day or two. I got the same code, cleaned both o2 sensors and the light went out for about a day, then right back on. Thanks for this video and info!
Hey Daniel, what is the thickness of the green rods? I am seriously considering making my own, on a quick connect plate. This would be very helpful. Thank you in advance. :)
My harbor freight thickness caliper guage says they're 1" 9/64... so probably 1" 1/8 :)
@@danielames7611 got ya! Thank you. That is good enough for me! I am thinking about using 1" rebar, it sounds like that should be comparable. Haha
Great video, good ideas and use of surroundings. This made something intimidating look easy!

How to dismantle the whole tractor to get to the gas tank. Wow.
Great video! I’m trying to find an implement to use as a hand broad fork, to dig and slightly loosen garden beds. The soil has already been plowed and tilled so it looks like this would be a good fit??? Is it strong enough to do this??
Hmm.. I feel like these would be too long for that. If I come in too steep and stab them into the ground more than a few inches deep, my tractor usually can't lift them out. (My tractor is small, mind you). They're really long and the mechanical disadvantage is something you have to work with. Maybe if you found something with shorter tines? Or if you have a bigger tractor? I don't think it would work well with my little 24hp... Good luck in your search!
That was pretty impressive!
Bro this vid rocks. You work just like me lol. No but yeah I’m about to tackle this soon on my daughter’s car and this “preview” of the job really helps. Thanks.
Just did this and just wanted to add the new (Chinese $99) cat that I got went on great but the bottom bracket on the passenger side had to be bent and manipulated to get it to line back up with the existing mounting points. Other than that it was just like you show in the vid. Thanks for the help!
Thank you, this helps a lot.
Did he fart?
Not that I recall, but probably.
Awesome video. Simple to the point. Sorry about your front bumper cover getting caught as you were pulling away.
Du har snabbfäste på lastarn... Ja tror du skulle klara av med med gaffeln om du sätter den direkt på snabbfästet istället för på skopan...
This makes me thankful that I have a YT347 with the tank low and accessible.

Simply brilliant!
I bought a 2”hitch receiver mount for $ 20 years ago and welded to to top of the bucket, in the same place. It allows me to move trailers, attach a wench if I want. I usually have have a mount with a tow shackle clevis on it for pulling stumps and lifting things. I can share any of the mounts with my truck.
You beat me to it. I was going to say, grind all of that crap off of your ball mount and weld a receiver to your bucket. Later you can make or buy mounts for a shackle or a chain grab hook. You could also make a boom that mounts in the receiver and is supported by the front of the bucket. The list is endless.
thanks, very helpful

Somebody didn't watch the whole video. :) I actually address that at the end (I know most people don't watch videos like this all the way thru. I typically don't either :) ) But yeah, definitely best to only use this for hauling things that are only too long, not back-heavy.
Gotcha. Nice try distributing the weight. I had not watched the whole video at first cause I already knew what the outcome was going to be. But at-least you tried to balance it. Good try thought. Just take it slow
