I have a rolleicord 1a also and it has a dark screen. whats the size of the mirror?

looks like a ICA delta 200 or ICA IDEAL 225 Im aware that ICA does the shutter mechanism but ive seen some handles say delta 200. but I could not look at the inside sticker(s). waiting to recieve my own soon.

I got the same camera from a thrift store lately after some research I found out it was produced in 1937, It’s a masterpiece.

Just use a two bath developer like Barry Thronton's or even something like Diafine. Most film of any speed develop in about 4.5 to 5 minutes in each bath.

What film does it take?

Thanks. My cousin was an antique dealer. After he died his wife asked me to sell a bunch of things. This is one of the many cameras and camera accessories i have to go through. Ive seen a few other vids of this camera, but those aren't the striped ones. Now i know its the arc deco model. Thanks for that. But i dont think the shutter works. Its my understanding that if you flip the lever the shutter opens for a split second and you can see through it, but i cant see through this one. Does that mean the shutter doesn't work and is there any way it can be repaired by less than a novice? I see 4 small scews on the front, i am very tempted to go in, should i do it?

I have the same camera and I’ll drop a film in it this month and take pictures in the beautiful light of month of march here in Quebec City I really like the way you present your videos.

do you still work with this camera? I just ordered mine on ebay for $400. Looks like a super good deal. Earlier I got a century 11x14, which required modifications to fit the film holder and adjust the focus plane with the ground glass.

the film for cartridge must be about 54cm I think.

I have the baby brother to your camera. A Voigtlander Avus 6.5x9 cm. I hope this method works as well with the smaller sheets. I also hope to tray develop using Arista Ortho 3.0 Film using a red safe light. I'm still getting the camera sorted out. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for recommending Mark Hansen. I sent one of my two Rolleiflexes to CA and was told that it's no repairable due to "liquid damage." I'm not doubting that, but I'm going to contact Mark about my second Relleiflex. Both of them were made in the early 50's and share the bayonet mount and view finder.

Is there a reason mine doesn’t take photos? It runs through the film but they are blank?

I will get a Paxette (in fact more than one model, just won them on eBay) so I can not talk for this specific model, but not all cameras made on the model of the sliding in down part are without lightseals. E.g. the Voigtländer Vitessa and Vitessa T. They have a yarn as light seal all around where the two halves of the camera met.

As with all Rolleicords, change the focusing screen as soon as you get one and you will enjoy shooting it till you drop. A good screen can be had for $30.00 but if you want a stellar screen, the maxwell screen can cost you $350.00.

I have my fathers Exakta V camera. It has a V and E at the bottom of the lens plate with a Primoplan 1:1.9/58 Meyer Götiltz Nr. 1109540 lens that has some dust hehind the glass. Is it worth being serviced / cleaned?

I have a Zorki C Is there a serial number database? This video helped me with the rewind operation. Thanks. All black body fitted with Industar 50/3.5 lens with red barrel. Absolutely beautiful. Love the heavy sound the shutter makes. Exposures are good. Shutter curtain is good. Range finder is good - measured distance to subject. But lens often focuses behind the subject. How can I fix this? Two repair shops I tried would not attempt it.
