Mmm, there is an actue teacher shortage in Guernsey. Maybe that's why they are churning out these obvious propaganda films. If you want to move there then beware because house prices are very steep and the education system is stratified with the private schools creaming off the more motivated students. Mind you sounds similar to lots of places in England although I have a feeling it will be more similar to the situation along the north coast down to Clacton where the run down seaside resorts have difficulties.

Just stumbled upon this on YT. I'm very proud to have recently discovered (2021) that my "De Carteret Family" were one of the founding families in Guernsey and can be traced all the way back to the year 823. My elders (many times G,,,, GrandFathers) served as humble servants/ advisors to Royalty of their day. ((I wonder if you are related to my Uncle: Peter Le Gallez?))
