By the way, 238 for Switzerland is massive. The landslide victories of Ireland 1994 and UK 1997 (with 25 sets of votes) had jury numbers in the 220s

serbia is lucky two years in a row, having neighbor together in semi. both entries can easily NQ in 2023 and 2024, but automatically having 12 points already

@@michelski3528 There is literally 3 ex YU countries (including Serbia) in competition. There is more ex Soviet countries and more Nordic countries then ex YU, and they all exchange points too

Does San Marino have televoting? If yes, why do they use their jury in the semi finals?
Well, San Marino has almost no people in their country and they’re probably wasn’t enough people Chavo in San Marino for the semifinals
They don't have a televote, they have an aggregated system that calculates a pattern of points based on neighboring/similar countries

@@chenles_defender no, it's a selected group of countries, probably including Italy, but they don't reveal this information. The Sammarinese broadcaster isn't really ok with this system but it's what the EBU decided since the country doesn't meet the minimum potential televoters
@@yaek5789 Okay, it makes more sense. Do you know what's the minimum amount of potential televoters? Because Malta is also small, but they use televoting every year, (maybe because they have more people than San Marino), but still is it big enough to support results for 26 different countries?
