HG has never owned Macross. It had International Distribution rights to the original series which they bought from Tatsunoko. They were sued in court in Tokyo for trying to use DYRL designs which were not part of the original sale of the international distribution rights from Big West/Studio Nue to Tatsunoko. Plus HG were idiots to block Macross internationally as if they'd work with BW/SN they'd have raked in a fortune. Their late 90's product grab was dumb too. Telling every anime store globally to hand over all Macross items as only "they" were permitted to sell it was rificulous as it made all the stores lawyer up, then collectively tell HG to go F themselves as they had no right to seize items.

Switch 2 will be a huge improvement over the Switch. 8 years is a long time for hardware, people are crazy for expecting a slight upgrade. The new console will be able to play cross-platform games from PS5, and it needs to because it will be competing against PS6 for most of its life. The Switch can already play PS4 games like DOOM, so if the Switch 2 can't play PS5 games then there's not much point in a new console. Handheld mode doesn't need 4K, so I think the CPU will run faster when it's docked. And if the dock doesn't have an extra parallel GPU at launch, they'll always have the option of releasing an upgraded dock for higher graphical settings without replacing the entire console.

i saw a few of the pictures at some point and they honestly seemed like they were ironic. just pasted on pngs of bugs on the cards and a few were holes on the characters (probably meant to trigger trypophobia) they were defintely a bit strange but to be sued over that is a bit too far

i do feel the need to say that it wasn’t just bug edits, it was specifically something called lotus collages or trypophobia, from what i understand they were posted under official tweets etc, leaving people to quit the game and so happy elements stepped in as they believed it was causing a loss of income. happy elements doesn’t usually interact with fan edits from memory, like your not meant to even post the in game mvs online but no one has ever been charged or send anything before so it’s definitely an usual situation. i’ve seen some edits and they aren’t horrific or anything but their whole account was deleted so i can’t actually comment on anything they posted.

Being a fan of this game for years this is such a thing Happy Elements would do. Kohaku is a decently popular character but people do far worse than just bugs in the community. The person was probably just upset Double Face was disbanded lol. Hope nothing bad happens to the person.

Orphan Black Echoes is pretty nice 4/5 👍🏼 But don’t expect it to be like the original, I don’t want to spoil everything but the aspect of multiple clones of the same person is still a thing later on!

More Perfect Union on CZcams did a piece on the workers that was really informative about just how much was leeched from the workers and how the system can be profitable.
