I've tried to search for a video with the song "Those Were the Days" with lyrics, but all the few videos I have found haven't, in my opinion, been particularly good. That's why I made a new one. Hope you like it!

I was resurfacing our home roof with my father. My clearest memory of the tune. We stopped and listened to the transistor radio 📻 until it was over, then went back to work. Hey Jude by the Beatles followed it. My father didn't stop for that one. Both tunes were on the Apple record label

@@ArleneMulligan-zf7yh Oh no don't let anything make you sad. Old age is just the next phase of this life that we need to savor with every fiber of our being. Don't get me wrong, I understand exactly what you are saying, but next time before some old memories come up that you feel sad about knowing will not likely ever, ever return...just think how wonderful it is that you have so many memories to smile about the rest of your life. There are too many people out there right now that feel like they don't have and never will have a memory that they want to recall. It's true, we are fortunate to have the ability to remember and enjoy those events in life that should be bringing a smile to our faces, not sadness that they are gone. At least we have them and best of all, WE CAN REPEAT THE EXPERIENCE SIMPLY BE REMEMBERING THEM. How we respond to anything is completely within our control, simply be positive, and thank the good Lord (or whatever, depending on your spiritual beliefs, nobody but yourself if necessary) that we had those joyful times in our past. There's many of them if you just run across something here and there that pull those memories from way down in our memory banks. Most of us have so many joyful trips we can take just recalling the many good days my friend, they don't really have to end (so long as you have a memory and a positive attitude, which is up to you remember?).
