How to keep your cool when your car battery dies
Owning a 15 year old car has its challenges. One of them is dealing with a dead battery. Watch me struggle with figuring out the problem and then boosting my battery all by myself (ok, with a power pack), and then I'll show you how to reset your clock after the battery starts again.
The lesson is that no one is going to come save you all the time, so you have to learn to be self-reliant.

Homemade Hair Mask

After bleaching the crapola out of my hair to try to blend with my gray, it became very dry and brittle. Enter this homemade oil treatment! Ingredients: Oil (I used melted shea butter) Oil (I used almond oil) MORE OIL (I used Verb ghost oil) I also added some rosemary essential oil, but forgot to get a video of that. Basically, just use any kind of oil, and enough to completely soak your hair. ...
Testing Colorista Silver Spray on my 6-month grow-out
zhlédnutí 30KPřed 3 lety
Trying out the Colorista One-day spray in Silver. After 6 months of growing out my silver roots and trying lots of fun colours on the ends, I thought I'd see what the final grow out might look like. This is NOT an ad! However, I did win this product from Loreal a year or two ago (along with a pink and purple spray) and immediately threw the silver into my tickle trunk for the next Halloween dre...

Testing Essential Oil as Natural Deodorant

In my journey of cutting out harmful chemicals from my life, I quit using deodorant. In this video, I put an essential oil concontion to the test as a deodorant and make my partner be the judge. Either he just loves my musk, or it actually works! He's clearly a good sport. Sarah's Silver Lining: essential oils are much cheaper and less harmful than manufactured antiperspirant. And I confirmed I...
Clean a rusty cast iron pan

Watch me fix this rusty old cast iron pan I found in my driveway. I fail over and over again so you don't have to! This pan had been sitting in my yard for at least 2 years, so I figured I'd try to see if it was salvageable. I'm delighted to say that after days of scrubbing and soaking and scrubbing again, it is! Tools you need: steel wool rubber gloves lots of white vinegar oil cloth to distri...

I have the same pool please tell me your ratio of bleach tabs or liquid and amount of borax? I have look for the information else where and i cant find it. Please
So and !???? After the first week … how long did the new water last????
I wish I could remember, but 4 years and a baby later, I don't recall. I don't think I ever kept it for more than a week at a time because I didn't want to completely destroy my grass, and the raccoons were a nuisance. I haven't blown it up for a couple years because of my toddler. Maybe this will be the year...
Milf alert
Wow ! I love it. You look so beautiful in that color with your eyes and complexion
Thanks! Now that I'm finished with the grow out (4 years ago I started!) I love it way more than I ever expected.
Look's good on you, would consider using this myself, I am growing out my dyed brown hair going Grey. Started this one month ago. Thank's for sharing this video with us.
Good luck with your grow-out!!! It's been over 4 years for me now, and I haven't looked back. My 67-yr-old mom got through the first 7+ months by using the brown spray every day, but discovered it stained her hair so she's been working on clarifying it to reveal the true white. Lots of ways to do the grow-out, hope you choose one you can stick with 🤍
U need a step daddy for your pool?
Just got one... how do you clean it and how often do you empty ?
Thumbs up on the color.
Does it feel okay? Does it wash out easily? Does it damage hair?
It felt really sticky. You definitely can't touch it after. But it didn't damage my hair (anymore than a hairspray would). I can't remember how easily it washed out, sorry!
Thanks@@sarahssilverlining
I love how simple not-super-fancy you kept it. It's exactly what I was looking for. I don't wanna go to the shop n stuff so I wanna make do with what I have at home. Loved the chair come trampoline to the right. Great video!Thank you!
Retangular tan tanning pool portable I have pool ifi
Get sun pool
sO HELPFUL! I WANT MY white regrowth silver and shily!
What do you mean you don’t garbage bags?
Been looking on how to keep my blowup pool from getting slimy on bottom searched Google they said put a tennis ball in it and within an hour it wasn't slick anymore ...unbelievable really I'm shocked !! Gonna get more tennis balls !!
Are you serious??? This problem is exactly why I got on youtube - slimy pool bottom is gonna cause me to break a leg! I will definitely try this! Thank you!
I got this idea in my head just yesterday when I saw what looks like your pool at walmart for $30. I even bought me a floaty, too. I can float and try to tan and cool off too!! I haven't got mine up just yet, though. But I got the idea to look on yt to see if any adult was using a kiddy pool to lounge in!! ❤❤❤❤ Thank you for validation!! I'm showing hubby I'm not so silly after all.
O course a lot of adults use kids pool. I'm 45 and I bought a 3 ring inflatable pool and I get in with my 9 year old daughter. We and have fun!!!
@@nayadetgonzalez5958 I bought another $30 pool this year and two cheap floaties cuz they don't last long. I accidently left my original pool from last year outside in my gazebo folded up during a freeze and got tears in it. But for $30 it is worth it.
Milf alert!
What size is your pool?
How often do you have to change the water out with your method?
What size pool?
Your solutions to keeping your inflatable pool clean are great! Cheap and practical... You're a genius!
❤❤❤
Wish I could be in the pool with you mommy I love you ❤
Hi! My name is Kara, not Greg, haha, that's my hubby. I just bought myself a small pool, like an 8x5. I think your video is super cute and creative. Thank you! You did awesome!! 💚💙
Kara, you're so kind! Thanks for commenting, I'm so glad you liked the video! Hope you're enjoying your pool
I have trouble getting the fine dirt out.
I had that problem too tbh. Especially when you scrub it mixes it all up. Maybe someone else will reply with a solution...?
Just add hot water from the sink in the kitchen. Use the biggest pot in your cupboard to fill hot water from the sink and walk it to the pool. Just 10 minute of doing that and you have a warmer pool…. Rocket science
Add sea salt for a cheaper and more natural way to keep it clean
I'm so glad that works for you! I wanted a solution so I didn't have to heat water and lug it back and forth. Glad you found a solution for yourself
You're sooo pretty 😘
Hi Sarah, how much bleach do you put for this size of pool a cup?
I found the information online saying it's a 1/8 cup per 100 gallons, so you need to make the math according to your pool's size.
Thanks beautiful I’m about to enjoy my kiddie pool too 🤗🤗🤗
How do I get stuff like loose stuff off the bottom without draining pool ?
I use a sponge to wipe up the grime that gets on the bottom and then the skimmer when it gets loose
Thanks i was looking for just tings like this that fits my budget and looks like we can still have so much fun 🤩 thank you
I tried it and liked it, helped me cover brown hair growing into silver. Yes, gals, try it!
was it very sticky?
It look good
Yes, I would use & just did today. I'm doing the Covid-Molt, lol. Letting dyed brown/red hair, give way to natural salt/pepper grow out. Loreal spay in Silver looks awesome. TIP: I wore a mask, to prevent breathing in particles. :)
THose plastic covid masks would be good How sticky was it?
Did I mention, NICELY DONE? !!
It looks SO pretty. Really beautiful! "Steel wool"?? NO!. No. No. Take another gander in the mirror gurl! :) !!
Looks really good. I think I will try it out.
oh naw wwwwwaaaaaaa
Omg I think this video is soo underrated! It has helped me with every problem I had with our pool. Getting it heated, cleaning it, covering it… whew! You are the best! If you changed the title of this video you may be able to reach a lot more people who needs the same help as I had. Plus the video is cute❤️
You are so kind! I have not been keeping up with this account at all and had no idea there were so many views and comments. I'm so glad it's been helpful!
How do you inflate the pool? It did not come with any attachments and the entrance hole is large and there’s three layers. Help!
I have this same exact pool and had to buy a air pump to fill it with air. The one I got was only $10 at Walgreens in the summer section and it had the correct attachment needed for the wide opening of the air valve. It connects to outlet and only took four minutes to inflate all three air compartments. Super fast and easy. The brand I got was the BESTWAY sidewinder ac air pump 110-120 v and comes with three valve adapters and is often used for air mattresses and blow up pools or pool floats. Just google “air pump to fill blow up pool” and similar cheap ones will come up and are sold at Walmart, Walgreens, homedepot etc
My mom did that to me one time. I think she tried a natural deodorant and she grabbed me and tried to rub her armpit in my face. Mom's do silly things with their kids. Love my mom so much
What are the dimensions of your pool? I was needing one that you could put a float in to tan
Think''s for Charing
Do you know the brand of your pool? I've been looking for one that has good reviews but haven't had much luck. Seems like you've got a good one, though.
Looks like an Intex pool
I'm going to use this product, I will wear a mask though, to not breath in the particles : )
breath in or breathE in?
How much bleach and borax did you put in? I have the same pool.
no borax just chlorine pucks (small in a dispenser). Water stays clean and clear for at least 10 days
I've used this spray many times. ! I love it ! Does not smell bad.
Cute video and great tips! Will you be using the same pool this summer? What brand is it? I'm looking at different brands for one myself. I also have no kids and I'll 55 in a couple of weeks so birthday present for myself! :)
So, I'm only 11 months late with this reply... LOL. I did use it again last summer, but I forgot to put blood meal around the perimeter to keep the darn Toronto Trash Pandas out, so they got their little claws in the side. I was able to patch it, but not perfectly, so there's a really slooooooow leak. Plus, I now have a baby! So I think this year I'll be switching to a really tiny one I can dump out every time I use it.
@@sarahssilverlining Congrats on the new baby!!! I decided not to get one though after all. But, thanks for replying!
How many 1 in tablets do you use and how often do you add more
No answer
I've had the same pool for 3 years and my kid is a year and a half old so don't feel bad. I got a chlorine float, 1 inch clorox chlorine tablets, and test strips for around $12. I haven't had a lot of issues with algae after I started using it.
How often do you put tabs in? I have arm and hammer tablets
I would use it because almost ALL of my hair is white except for about an inch wide right around my face. This sounds like it would be just perfect. Thanks for the review.
HOW WAS IT?
