This is Washington's largest ski area, with the most vertical, highest elevation, and the only 8-passenger gondola in the state, also home to Washington's highest elevation restaurant, Summit House. It's out of this world and easy to reach, less than two hours from Seattle, located on the NE corner of Mt. Rainier National Park. Crystal Mountain is open year-round for recreational activities including scenic gondola rides and the new high ropes course.

Trail Crew: Shaping Legendary Terrain
Ever wonder how ski trails are made and maintained? Take a look behind the scenes at the Crystal Mountain Trail Crew; working hard all summer to shape the legendary terrain that we ski all winter. Their primary goal? Enhancing the skier and rider experience and breathing new life into the older, overgrown terrain, making it more accessible and enjoyable to ski and ride for the public. But their work goes beyond creating flowy lines; it's about helping the forest grow and carefully considering how their efforts impact the mountain’s ecosystem; ensuring that they preserve the natural environment and maintain a healthy forest.
Last summer, Trail Crew focused on mid-mountain terrain including Rolling Knolls and the terrain leading up to Bear Pits. This summer, they have been cleaning and opening up Northway terrain to improve the skiing and riding. Stay tuned for more info on trail updates coming soon.

Really?? That is the video you have for advertising this park? It really got us excited to go check it out. Maybe if we've never seen a creek in the woods before. Marketing needs to step it up.
That’s because it’s going a limited distance. Watch what happened on Motorcoach world and see what happened to the guy who took one from Cali to Florida. Talk about a nightmare and proof we don’t have the infrastructure yet.
do you need avalanche pass/beacon and shovel to access Silver King? also, how is the access back into the resort? would love to hit this next year!
Have to ask a decades old question. When a ski run becomes hard-pack or ice, and there are feet of snow under that hard-pack / ice, why don't groomers grind down farther to restore the run to skiable?
