I was off the charts with antibodies to Humira. Switched to Cosentyx for a year, weaned off Cosentyx now I'm not on anything since 2021! You can try Cosentyx, keep your cholesterol down and you may experience what I did. If you do, spread the news. I have AS. When I had flareups my knees got huge and very inflamed. Now I'm on nothing for the AS. For me right now, it's like a huge relief. Although my back is fused, but my knees aren't inflamed anymore. Also my iritis isn't as often or as severe.

I'm saddened you have to give up something that helps you express your creativity, gives you connection, and a modest income source, just to appease a system that tried to minimize your existence. I'm an outreach worker in Canada, and I'm currently assisting a client with parts of the disability application process. I feel like our system is broken, but to hear you have to give up parts of your life, that this process may take you a year, and you require a lawyer, is shocking to me. I've never tried Discord, but I'm willing to give it a go! Good luck and take care of yourself. We'll be here when you return. 🧡💜

Hey ghoul…I was tearing up as I watched this video because almost 20 years ago I had to stop working because my epilepsy was getting really bad and my employer explained that I had to either quit or she was told that she had to fire me 😢 I’ve been on disability ever since because I also have mild cerebral palsy and there are indeed laws that prevent people from working a legit job. I’m so so sorry, my sweet spooky ghoul. My mom was denied twice before getting a lawyer, and I know that when you are a young person, they will do a lot to deny your case. Just be patient, you are absolutely entitled to disability benefits because of all of your “broken parts” but convincing them of that is a whole other story! You are honest, so just persevere and do whatever necessary to keep yourself healthy and as strong as possible. I messaged you on instagram, so yes, I would like to join you on discord.
