Will Our Jackery and Electric Blanket Keep Us Warm During a Power Outage?
This video is about how we can use our 12 volt electric blanket and Jackery to stay warm when we camp in cold weather. These items can also be used during a power outage if you have sun to recharge the battery bank, you can have hours of heat from the electric blanket.

Let's Go Foraging: Is It a Weed or is it Food?

This video is to inspire you to learn more about what is available to you locally, from plant-life to people. Many of the "weeds" in our garden have more nutritional value to us that the vegetables we plant. seedandsparrow.org see...

Question- how do you fit/ where does your head go to watch tv? Are you sleeping east/west or do you have to lean back against the cabinets? Leaning against the cabinets looks like it would be very uncomfortable. Great video and beautiful camper!!
We sleep east to west with our head on the side with the door. The tv is to the right side of the foot of the bed when we sleep. The bed is too short to sleep with the head under the cabinets. It works for my husband that is 5’10”, but it is a bit short for my son-in-law that is 6’1”. Lay down in it and try it out before you buy one to see if it works for you.
@@gigiplusthebeard thanks so much!!

Appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Did all seeds on the flower develop fully? I can't see this clearly from here.
@@jackmanatawa5212 , the did however I did not have good germination when I planted them this year . Some of the sprouted but not many. I will just need to sow heavily next year with the seeds I save

Just bought one today but there’s an interior and exterior kitchen! I’m so excited. Hope you all love it!

3:40 LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH!!! Where can I find those cute red tubs? They are perfect!! God bless you and keep on sharing these wonderful videos!👍❤️

This is not canning creamed corn. This is freezing creamed corn.
Yes, I have tried canning corn and I don’t care for that

Where would you reccomend camping if you're driving a sedan?
All of the places we camped could be reached by sedan. There are many disperse camping throughout Salida and Buena Vista area that can be reached by car. There were disperse sites on the Arkansas River near Turtle Rock campground. There’s a campsite at the railroad bridge, which is on 371 and it is on the Arkansas River. Quite a few dispersed camping around there . Enjoy camping
@@gigiplusthebeard thank you! 😊
I really can't stand the obsessive need to show how firearms are in an unloaded state on videos.
That was great. Appreciate the video. May I ask - When running the aircon, do you have to leave the rear door open or do you vent it some other way?
We do leave it cracked a bit. It also has a vent on top of the kitchen galley. With a small vent cut in the bottom of the galley, I wouldn’t crack the door. That is an easy modification to prevent to allow it to vent better.
❤good boy

How big is your Jackery?
300 . I wish we had gotten a larger one but it meets our camping needs
The size of the gun and the sights are fine, but you’re right, the grip is obnoxiously large. I changed them out for a set of NAA rosewood grips and now it’s perfect.
They look a lot better with the smaller grips but sometimes the ugly girl is the best bet! Ha!

Your hand must be teflon because I couldn’t break my echinaceas apart to collect seeds, too pokey.
They weren’t too bad. It was probably because they were old and dried and fell off the seed head pretty easily.

Welcome to trout fishing! It's a lot of fun. Trout do have a tendency to be "gut hooked" so i try and keep the retrieval to a minimum, as well as taking the barbs off the hooks, especially if intending to "catch & release." Planning on an overnight to that area soon! Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the information. We look forward to visiting that area again. Thanks for watching.

We carry 2 Jackery 500's and 2 12V electric blankets when we travel during winter. They are part of our winter survival package along with 2 wool blankets. You never know when you could be stranded for several hours on the road due to ice. Great way to conserver the gasoline of your vehicles until it becomes necessary to turn the car on for a few minutes to warm it up. The electric blankets work best when a blanket is thrown over them. Good video.
Excellent idea about the vehicle prep! I have all of my kids carry wool blankets as part or their car kits will have to add some jackerys and blankets for them as well. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for doing a trial run. Helpful to know and consider planning.
You are welcome . It works great. We wish we had gotten a larger battery bank . We will make that investment in the future.
We've used a Bluetti AC50s to power a 12 volt blanket overnight in our home made pop-up camper that has no utilities. But we need another solar panel or two to recharge it for the next night unless the sun conditions are ideal.
It l definitely depends on the sun as to how long it takes to charge ours . I have tested it before but I can’t remember how long it took to charge. If my memory serves me well, on a sunny day it charges fairly quickly . I will have to test it and do a video soon . Thanks for watching - G
