Calorie deficit will cause deranged metabolism. As soon as you go back to eating the amount that you should be eating to maintain your health, you will start gaining weight again. You basically have to perpetually stay in a calorie deficit in order to maintain your weight loss progress. This means that you will end up nutritionally deficient and start experiencing related symptoms. The safe and permanent way to lose excess fat is to tightly control your insulin levels. Keeping insulin levels normal and steady for as long as you can will cause your body to automatically drop all excess body fat at a rate of about 2 to 4 lbs per month. Additionally, controlling insulin levels for fat loss will not result in becoming under weight. Once your body reaches it's genetically determined ideal body fat percentage, your body will automatically maintain that state by increasing or decreasing your appetite. The three main ways a person keeps their insulin levels elevated are: 1) Maintaining elevated cortisol and adrenaline -- Chronic stress or infection -- Medications or drug use (alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, etc) 2) Sleep deprivation -- one bad night of sleep can noticeably elevate your insulin for the next day 3) Excessive dietary carbohydrate intake -- Eating carbs elevates your blood sugar which elevates your insulin levels -- eating carbs throughout the day results in elevated insulin throughout the day -- this results in your body being in "storage mode" for most of the day. -- if you eat like this every day, your body will basically perpetually be wanting to hold onto body fat which will make it extremely difficult to lose body fat Fastest, safest, and most permanent way to lose excess body fat is to: 1) Do things to sleep more and better 2) Eat less than 20g carbs/day -- eat plenty of protein and fat -- protein and fat do not spike insulin If you eat less than 20g carbs/day, you can expect to: 1) Lose excess body fat at about 2 to 4 lbs per month 2) Fix your insulin problems (if you have PCOS, you 100% have insulin problems) 3) Reverse most if not all of your PCOS symptoms in about one year As a side note, if you think what I am saying is inaccurate, I encourage you to take the following two blood tests: ■ Fasting insulin ■ ADIPO-IR If your fasting insulin is over 5 uIU/mL then you have elevated insulin that is contributing to body fat retention. If your ADIPO-IR score is 2 or higher, you are insulin resistant which means you have elevated insulin which is contributing to your body fat retention. How long did the program take you total?
On the first exercise it seems like you are doing a cross between a lat pulldown and a tricep pull-down. If you want to hit the triceps harder you should keep your shoulders and elbows in relatively the same place as you do your pull-down. Also it’s a good practice to not lockout but to hold it at 95% to get the best burn.Good job!

Hi, I no longer have access to the course work I submitted. But if you use these steps, it will help you succeed at Capella.
I love using oat BRAN for savory mixes. The texture reminds me of grits or polenta. Plus it has a bit more fiber and protien than oat meal. Inositol has made a huge difference for my PCOS.

Can someone tell me the steps after I get my BSN in RN ?? I want to do the Capella PhD Physiology in psychology but I didn’t know what order or steps it goes in as far as the Flex program or if I needed my Doctrine NP first , like what’s the order is it even necessary if I am doing general psychology in Nursing ? Do i absolutely need to do the DNP Program? Helllp So far I went LPN certificate LPN-RN Associates RN- BSN

I'm currently taking my pre reqs for the ADN program at my local community college. I plan to attend Capella for my BSN but I wanted to know if they offer a BSN to DNP bridge. I tried to look it up on their website but it appears to be glitched out so I can't click any of the links and google is no help lol.
