what a nice, down to earth guy
Im good friends with Mike and the rest of the band. Theyre all genuine down to earth people!
I hope Sammy Duet can sign my Paegan Terrorism Tactics vinyl when i see Goatwhore / EHG in Perth 🤘🏾
I love these cradle chronicles conversations (all of them)👍🏻 I'm a maiden fan
Man Chris is one of my favorites and for sure one of the best!! I saw him with Act Of Defiance and we all went out to dinner before the show. He and their vocalist invited me onstage that night to perform I’m Broken as a tribute to Dime. Getting to pay homage to one of your guitar heroes with another one of your guitar heroes is a surreal experience. You rule Chris!!!
I can confidently say this was one of the best interviews I've heard w Kat (Jonas). Delving into things not mentioned in the several dozens I've heard w Kat. I'm around both their ages yet I didn't really get into metal until my 30s. So I find it quite intersting hearing about the 90s scene.
@@6hypnone thx Danielle!
Love you my andy Scott ❤️ stay safe and see you December rock city nottingham hopefully 🙏 ❤️ see you next year as well 😘
Great interview. Just love Andy to bits long may he continue.
Joe Haley and Wes Hauch have the chops, style, and tone that leave me in awe more than any other guitarists. Can never decide who is my favorite between the two and I'm glad I don't have to.
10:15 "Burp" 🤣🤣🤣🤮
MY FABOURITE BAND L7 SINCE 1987 YESTERDAY THEY CAME TO BARCELONA AND SAW THEM IT WAS REALLY GREAT WHEN THEY WERE LEAVING I WAS SCREEMING TO THEM I LOVE YOUU DONNITA,JENIFER , IM SORRY GIRLS I WAS SOO EXICTED I DID NOT MEAN TO SCARE YOU SORRYYYYYY😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Was Yesterday Juny 2024
I LOVE this guy. I was at a show in 2023 when he played in Salt Lake City and got to act like an air guitar idiot right in front of him. What a legend! His foot was right up on the edge of the stage and I was right up against the bar. I'll never forget the brief eye contact we made, he gave me this look like "quit acting like an idiot" haha he stared/glared at me for a moment I'll just say his signature was etched by lasers into the inside of my cranium that night at that moment haha I love the way he plays, it was awesome to see him in action up close with my tongue hanging out
Cool interview....did Sammy just hint at Acid Bath getting together again? Even one show would be amazing
Odds on that’s what he was implying. Hope it happens!
How refreshing to click on this video to hear an Aussie Well done, mate. Nick is a phenomenon ✌🏻
🇦🇺 🍺😎
Awesome interview! Thanks, I appreciate the hardwork
In New Orleans, Kyle has an amazing Dio and Judas Priest Tribute band. I saw both shows and I can tell you that Kyle is an amazing vocalist and showman
May I ask you a question? Who made your channel banner? It's really cool! It looks like inspired by Hieronymus Bosch. P.S. I've just subscribed to the channel.
Yes it’s a superb piece by my good mate Cristian Frost. It’s different compared to what he usually does: bluethumb.com.au/cristian-frias-frost
@@ScarsandGuitarspodcast Thanks. I'm gonna have a look right away.
All the best and good energy to Jesper!
A girl was attacked on a Cradle of Filth tour bus?
A girl was attacked on a Cradle of Filth bus was attacked?
I missed the whole album release cycle and press etc but was there for violent sleep of reason so I wanted to find out how the band views this one differently and my question is already being answered about 3 minutes in. thank you very much 👍
arhur brown was an early high range vocalist
great interview with a real innovator
Can we have a Covenant date in Atlanta or Florida?
"YOU'RE WRONG, YOU GOT YOUR TIME LINE OF JAMES' TENURE IN THE BAND INCORRECT😠" 2003 Damnation and a Day was released, they were a 5 member piece for that album. That year they head-lined second stage American OZZFEST, I was there. I saw James as second guitar player, not knowing who he is. Just surprised they have a new member on stage that isn't on the album they are touring on. And stood in line get his autograph. Cheers, James.
If a Pantera movie is made, take some "creative licence"and do it deathgasm style. Phil and dime fighting demonic monsters and saving the world. Gonna write that shit
Sad that Dimes gone and he is unscathed
Cool interview! Agree, those nu-metal bands all suck!
Vinnie vincent is the greatest living guitarist, way better than van halen
He humility is beautiful-
Doctor Eddie Ganja Here I lost both my Parents long ago I agree rocking Albums but Ace Frehley rules I like Black Rose better than China Town God bless My favorite CZcams Channel
Paul has been one of my favorite guitarists since 2006 when I first heard Cradle. I haven't even listened yet but thank you for this.
Jonas is such a great guy, very humble and talented 🔥
I saw Slaughter live last night and they kicked ass live along with Great White (Mark Kendall was absolutely brilliant… had no idea he was so talented) anyway yes Dana is a great player and personality. Randy Rhodes is absolutely one of the greatest guitarists ever and I agree about Tony Iommi who was the most innovative and influential musician in that era of rock and it’s great he finally got the recognition he deserves. I grew up on early Sabbath myself.
We are NEVER getting the Dawg - GB interview 😬😬
Well the truth about Strum is he was obviously an underrated and amazing producer, engineer, guitar player, talent scout, negotiator, and was absolutely essential to everybody he worked with. BUt people neglect to remember that his integrity and morals were not very good. He was very similar to the guy who everybody else maligns, Vinnie Vincent. I guess they made a good pair for awhile. Both did very shady things in all aspects of their time in music. They hurt and screwed over MANY other musicians and peers. This guy was very cutthroat and volatile, you did NOT want to get on his bad side. But talentwise, he did it all, and did most of it extremely well.
That’s disappointing to hear although I haven’t been aware of him or his career that long he comes off as a really straight up guy, is funny, charismatic and he has been in the scene (belly of the beast) for many years and I’ve enjoyed hearing his stories and perspective. But yea Vincent has a bad rap for sure and the music biz in general is ruthless and a cesspool under the lights and glitter.
I’ve loved the cradle series as a huge fanatic of the band. And I love your channel genuinely so my Criticism is nothing personal. I feel that the fact you don’t like the bloke is a cop out. I feel like you’ve heard enough but you need to take people at face value. Enough people on your cradle interviews say that dani is actually alright. And actually some very nice things about him. Also as a journalist , surely the chance to interview a villain (in your eyes) would be exciting. I think it only seems right you would interview him. I feel like the whole series has built up to the dani filth interview. The final boss. I appreciate if it was a 20 minute interview promoting the upcoming tour down there it would be pointless. If you could have an 90 minutes minimum with the bloke , develop a baseline. Ask hard, contentious questions it could be excellent.
All good, I understand your perspective. You’ve mentioned the problem; right now, the only opportunity to talk to him is during the promotional cycle, and frankly, I have no interest in promoting anything he's involved with. Additionally, I've been given information by ex-members that wasn't aired in the episodes, so I have a much more comprehensive view of Dan than most people. It would be difficult to hash things out with Dan when I can't discuss the actual reasons some ex-members want nothing to do with the Cradle legacy. I won’t betray their trust, a few are mates these days. Some have also been very supportive and want me to talk to him. When it’s all over I'll definitely reach out to Dan. Who knows when that’ll be. I know people want it to happen and so do I.
Demonaz says Abbath just left. Saw an interview Abbath said he was let go bcs of his drinking and other stuff? Regardless I can understand both sides. They drifted. Been a fan since the beginning. 88. Hope for a Immortal reunion 🤘. Just saw Abbath in Buffalo. Awesome !
Bom vocalista mais cronos e melhor
Having listened to all the interviews, it's not surprising. But you've done an amazing job at interviewing all those who deserve the credit and that counts for a hell of a lot. Bit of a random one here, but do you think you could get fellow Aussie, Dis Pater of Midnight Odyssey on the show?
I’ve actually never heard of MO and they’re from Brisbane! I’ll have to listen to them a bit more before it decide to see if Pater is available for a chat
Wes Hauch ❤ monster of metal.
Lee Harrison, John Allen from Sadus, Dave Culross, there are so many underrated drummers, and the same names get recycled all of the time. There are other drummers besides Dave Lombardo (who I like) and Sandoval (who I like) who are always mentioned by people. Thanks for the interview! 'Millenium', 'Spiritual Apocalypse' and 'Passage of Existence' are some of the greatest death metal records ever and yet you rarely hear them mentioned.
Is jonas still with bloodbath? I’ve seen many Live Photos with them lately, but it seems they have a stand in for him on bass?
🎤nice questions … nice answers … …nice two guys🎸😎👍
Hi Dave, great singer. thanks.🏁🤜
Omg im just barely seeing this there awesome
Great interview! Hopefully Sponge does some shows in Australia in the near future 👍
The whole point of listening to the interview is too HEAR about his thoughts on Cradle and there albums they did together so moving on. Sorry Paul bore the crap out of me
My favorite album by these guys is called kill on command, jungle rot will always be in my top 10 bands.
