We took a snorkeling excursion off Isabela Galapagos Islands. About a 45-minute boat ride along the coast from Puerto Villamil, you can snorkel with sea turtles at an area called Los Tuneles. Our third day on Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Islands got off to a rocky start, and then we just worked and relaxed the rest of that day. The fourth day we went to Charles Darwin Research Station and got to see lots of giant tortoises, both old and young, as well as Lonesome George.

@visualflair glad you found it! We really enjoyed the spot. It was about a 5 minute walk to a convenience store and a really great restaurant right next door that we ate at multiple times. And then about a 10-15 minute walk to the bus stop that would take you to the rest of town or the beaches. But staying further back off the beaten path definitely allowed for more wildlife viewing!

Yes it happened to me.... we went on Monday and some places were closed eg Alcazar. Did enjoy cathedral, Bridge and walk up Tower at end ... inc museum with great view.

What was the redish drink in the coffee mug?
It’s called colada morada and it’s basically blended up purple fruits from Ecuador with some spices and then heated up. And it is SO GOOD!
