If it’s possible to get a tiny enough rechargeable battery and fit a micro USB port or a way to unscrew or pull it apart you just need a spring or mini plastic to cover the batteries so they can slip out and be changed. It would be super easy for the battery plastic housing and zero space but I can’t think of an easy way to take it apart except for a very tight rubber seal just big enough to hold it strongly together but can be elastic and pulled apart.

My dad cracked a coconut that ended up being rotten inside, but he cracked it into 2 perfect bowls, so I couldn't let him toss it! My plan is to make bowls out of the 2 halves to prove to him that everything can be repurposed!

I wouldn't use mineral oil and would rather you lineseed oil instead. Lineseed oil will get hard and protect the bowl for a long period while normal oil gets washed away over time. Otherwise really well done.
