My cat died on the way to the emergency vet yesterday at the time I am writing this. ♥️

Someone asked me,”What do you say to someone who just lost a son?” I said,”You don’t have to say anything. Be there so they can have a shoulder to cry on. Make them coffee. Sweep their floors or wash their dishes, watch a movie, hold their hand. You don’t need to say anything. Just be there and let them know you care. Call them and ask how they’re doing. If they want to talk, just listen. Don’t try to fix them. It just takes time.”

My brother died in 2015, and my mom found his jackets, and in his one of his jackets was a lighter. His lighter.

It always makes me suspicious when the government and corporations move together to heavily endorse pinpointing 'mental illness' as a problem to be solved by the individual. Yes, talking honestly and openly helps a lot. But in all honesty, are we really allowed to talk honestly and openly about things that really matter these days? There is a stench of hypocrisy and a dirty agenda from this charity. They'll be visiting my daughters school next month. I will remind her to stay critical.

I know it’s not the same as a human but I lost my cat on April 12th 2024 at 3:10PM. It’s been so difficult to continue on without him as one of my first experiences of grief.

My son died 2 months ago at age 29. A mom is not supposed to have to bury her child. Sometimes I think about texting him and realize I can't then the tears start and I feel lost.

I cope with writing & humor… I recreated a CZcams channel for it. Crying spells have been creeping in. I’ve screamed and sobbed. Last night… when I turned off the lights, I kept denying that she died. I cope with humor so, telling people that I lost someone very special in my life and in my family, would accuse me of being a farce. However, I can see how someone else would think as such. But my pain is so deep. It has only been 3 days. She never woke up after surgery this past Friday -It was a long weekend, so I’m back to work mañana: Work keeps me going, you know. For those who use humor as a way to cope or mask, I get it and I don’t judge you. Your pain is not less, your pain is JUST as valid. Sending love. And I’m sorry for your loss, whatever that may be. I still don’t comprehend what happened this past Friday. I DON’T.
