Dave Grohl's Probot project turned me on to Trouble. These guys were Spinal Tap and Anvil on a bad day. They could not get arrested. Even took 10 years between albums at one time in their tortured past. They were big in Schaumburg and Palatine, IL but no where else. They were great. I have all their Eric Wagner cd's. Very cool that this video exists. Thanx 4 sharing.

Nothing at all special about this. In 1984 it's pretty cool, but listening to it today its hogwash and way to long of a solo. Killing time is what the band was doing here.....Vandenburg wasnt a very successful band for a reason. Also, I was a bit disappointed in the 1988 Whitesnake concert with Vai and Vandenburg. Between those two and Coverdale the show was a mere posing contest for Loreal, Paul Mitchell and Max Factor😳....🙄

Saw this album in , I'm not really sure, '72 or '73 in the recordstore, never heard of Cactus before, but side 1 wow, even now 51 years later it's still great, love it. As far as I know there was always a small group of people in the Netherlands who knew Cactus, and did they missed something.

If this isn't embarrassing to him today, I can't imagine the mindset that would, after all of this time, still believe that a high school talent show level of impersonating Eddie and Randy, badly, was cool or entertaining to an audience that actually paid money to hear it. There is absolutely no point to anything he does, zero concept to the overall performance or even the fragments of passages, nothing leads to anything but an abrupt end. His picking is all over the map, nowhere near in sync with his fretting, his phrases are pitiful and you lose count of all the licks he has lifted straight from other players (which he butchers). Then there is the incessant use of legato on an instrument which is not set up for simply rolling your fingers over the frets to pretend that you are ''fast''. This entire clip is on par with a Spinal Tap episode.
