I've never understood the obsession with preventing squirrels from eating out of the bird feeder, when ever I put a feeder out I just accept that I'm feeding the squirrels too.

I have one comment: They must have just charged the feeder. We have one of those feeders. Very seldom do we see squirrels on it but every now and then you get one that can’t resist the adventure. We had one that made it around about 6 times but this guy is a real pro. We also have the feeder only suspended about 3 feet off the ground hanging from a limb with nothing around so when the squirrel falls off it won’t get hurt. When are they going to make them for humans? P.S. The feeders are good for small birds. If it gets below zero, it won’t turn well.
