GREAT VIDEO! Bunt something is missing. Adding hunter orange to the outside of your ground blind is important. It allows other hunters to see your blind, and it warns others that this blind is actively being used and this area is being hunted. On public land, you need to set up as far away from other hunters and folks in general as you can get. I'm just one old man sharing with other old men out there.

Also don't eat spicy food or garlic during deer season you stink 🤢

Yea if you hunt were there is snow . Cut a small sapling and put in blind in center . So . Ceiling don't fall down and fill up with snow. It has destroyed many of mine . Food for thought

I treat my blind to waterproof it with Thompson Water seal-works GREAT stop leaks and prevent fading. Air out well before hunting season. One thing I do is place some fresh cut grass inside blind so that smell get in blind

Fairly decent coverage to beging with but am a bit exposed from behind the stand where most of te deer seem to be coming in from. Thanks again and I look forward to many more of your videos!

Great video. Didnt think about wearing black though. Another tip would be, if you have adjustable windows, open them far enough so when you shoot your arrow, you dont hit the edge of the window. Easily overlooked even you practice drawing back, looking through your peep and pins, thinking you have plenty of room. Arrow sits 3+ inches lower than your sight does.

Thank You. I've always hunted from a stand but now that I'm 74, bought a pop up blind. Noticed how deer can even see you in a stand with movement. Great tips. That waterproof spray must have oder. How long do you leave it out to get rid of that smell? Even if you don't smell it the deer probably can. I'm going back over your video and make a checklist on the pointers. Thanks again.

It’s more of a wind barrier than a warm quilted blind. Which makes it a lot lighter than our quilted blind. I enjoyed the larger windows/openings. Made for a successful season. It has held up well for the first season and the stitching looks good.

Any sleeping bag will crush and have little insulation from the ground if you dont use a high R value sleeping pad.

Appears not to have full length zippers. They appear to stop well short of the bottom. See video at 1:00 -> The manufacturer's rating assumes that you are in a tent AND have an insulated mat.

Some really good advice! We need to offer as many beginner tips as possible. The hunting community is shrinking, we need to help these folks!
