I have great memories of back-packing south-east Asia as a young man. Now I'm heading into my senior years, the thrill of discovering the beauty of the world and the shared humanity of its people still burns bright within me. Hopefully my adventures inspire you to explore the world around you, too, and remind you that age is not a barrier to a life filled with curiosity, learning and vitality.

I love your videos :)
I live in Adelaide , Somerton park! Near Glenelg. Only 2 streets from a magnificent beach. It is beautiful
Been there! Love the pretty colours and the beach. Great videos you show
Just finished watching. What a lovely town! I could happily live in a town like this! Thank you for showing it I enjoyed very much 😀
I came across a lot of enthusiasm in Dimboola. It has pretty cool vibe these days
@@LetsGo012 I’m binge watching your videos tonight love them, not sure why I’m just seeing your feed? But they are great and relaxing thank you
@suzymcgregor3122 You go girl! Enjoy 😀
TEROWIE. sounds like you're saying Terowrie??
Really love your channel Terry, I love exploring the outback and country towns. You seem like a great guy, it’s what keeps me coming back to hear of your adventures. Keep it up Suzy
Thanks so much. It’s fun making these videos 😀
@@LetsGo012 do you go by yourself? If so is it lonely? I wouldn’t be able to do this alone, you would be very independent I’m guessing
@suzymcgregor3122 Yes I travel solo. I’m too busy to get lonely 😂
Freakin amazing 👍
Wish you were getting more views 👍
Let’s remember the Police at the time where all mainly anti Irish (and to be qualified as a policeman you just had to ask and apply) especially the ones with high rank, yes Ned was a rebel turned killer because he was going to be killed, the whole system is to blame not just Ned.
So we had a travelling dog before Red dog!
Terry I hope you never stop traveling and filming, it's inspirational stuff 👍
Awww. Thanks so much 😀
That was a very interesting insight to the history of Burra. Did you know that the Midnight Oil house is where Ian Rosewall was born, Ken Rosewalls cousin. There used to be to be a tennis court in front of the home and the family would sit on the veranda and watch Ken and Ian play tennis.
Wow. I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing 😀
Why the ghosts are angry is the pub has no beer
I am from the Bargwanna line , fathers mum, was a Bargwanna, you would have seen the band equipment in the museum , very large and well performed family
The brevet sergeant, John, that is/was there… genuinely the best Cop in the state. And I can’t stand cops. Be worth settling down there just to know you’re in a safe and supported community.
Another great video. thank you.
Hi Terry! You probs don’t remember but I am Kevin O’Neil’s partner - we met a few times back when you were doing music up here in the Hills. Annie of Moonshine Coalition stumbled across your Dimboola video and wanted to show it to me as it mentioned Steampunk and had a couple of pictures of the Brass Harpies in it, so we sat down to watch it and the first thing I exclaimed was “That’s Terry Springford!” 😆. I’ve been making my way through your Aussie videos since. They are fantastic! So happy for you and good luck with your travels 👏👏
Hi Meg. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. It’s a lot of fun travelling full time & making them. For the Dimboola video I spoke with Tracey who gave me permission to use the photos. I must go back to Dimboola for the next Steampunk Festival. It looks like great fun 😀
It's pronounced Ter-ow-wee!!! not terowree!! as a local to the district its lovely That you are teaching people about our history, but please get the town names correct!! we are very proud of our towns and heritage in South Australia ❤
Been camping there. Just beautiful.
Another interesting small town. I'll go there one day soon I hope but definitely not in summer !! PS I thought the name Jeparit sounded familiar and a quick search reminded me why - it was the name of a ship that was involved in supplying our troops in the Vietnam war. It was often mentioned on the news back in the day.
Which state is this in ? It looks amazing !
It’s in central Victoria. Worth a visit 😊
I love Wilson’s Promontory and thank you for your amazing video !
Thanks. It’s a sensational part of Victoria 😀
Lovely video thank you !
Who needs a story when these rocks are so spooky by themselves? The pictures you show us look even more surreal than most in the film.
Lovely video. Well done and great to see country towns such as Dimboola being rejuvenated by dedicated visionaries.
Terowie, NOT TerowRie....
Lots of gorgeous buildings
Great watching
Another great video cheers
Thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. That area’s certainly worth exploring
It's astounding Terry that with all the money and tourism Ned brings in that the groud of the Last Stand is an unmarked grassy piece of land. Big missed opportunities
Terry there is another tree walk for you in W.A. You did better than I did, my feet stayed firmly on the floor of the earth. But my wife ventured on the walk, Not this kid.
I saw that on the map. I’ll be avoiding it like the plague 😂
Burra is lovely though
Burra was also train history, got that through the lad at the motel
Sorry the emus were at Peterborough
I wish I could've scored one for a pet, I saw mini pats along Railway Tce, I thought a calf did them
Same trip as Terowie and Peterbourgh. Stopped here overnight and that was when we found out about the railway line. The place we stayed at was trying to resurrect it because of the paltry price it was sold for. We wandered around without the key but was still interesting. At the time w went through these areas emus were coming into town looking for food and water this was before 2019, so not sure when this vid was done but can tell you it was very interesting at this time
Theres a sad but true fact that SA sold off their Railway lines for bugger all. They could have kept it and used them for weekend getaways and travel but NO, they sadly sold it al off and left it to decline. Imagine the tourism these places could have if they reinvented them!! Thanks for the history
But now I remember going through this township with my partner at the time and it was the site sadly remembered for the murder, sad but true
Peterborough creeped me out
Unfortunately I bought a house there back in 2010, In hindsight Elizabeth would have been a better choice
Did you hear the clip clop of horses in the begining of this Vid. Not saying its ghostly but maybe riders, very applicable
I don’t recall any horses being near. Mmm 🤔
@@LetsGo012 Im seriously not having a go but if you listen intently (which I was not doing) you can hear the hooves. I just thought it might be locals out riding in the background
@@LetsGo012 There are some horses in Whyte Yarcowrie
loving your vogs
Thanks 😀
I’m thinking next trip I make it will be along the SA coast instead of inland, beautiful place.
Great videos, Terry. Thumbs up 👍🏻
Thanks 😊
Great Video. Keep up the good work.
Cheers 😊
What a stunning town!
Thank you, this realy is hiden gem, drove pass that area so many time, can't miss it again after this winter.
Streaky is a delightful little town. Some of the best Fishing & _'Fish n Chips'_ around.
I have been to these places previously and would highly recommend. Great video 😊
Thanks so much 😀
My mums side of her family lived in Terowie . They came to aus in 1837 . The malony's were a part of that town . My uncle basil used to run the movie theartre . I used to visit it as a kid ..
Drear Mr. Let's Go, July 2024. I'm an 88 yo Brisbane ite who has lived in Tas, Vic and NSW. My wife and I have been to many of the towns you have visited made CZcams videos. I just came across your Web site CZcams stuff. Greattttttttt!!! I have a suggestion or it may appear a "gripe". Please do not show yourself so much. I have downloaded hundreds of other peoples travel videos and I release that some people say its the latest craze. People I talk to agree with me. I make videos of our travels and other "stuff" where I do not show myself once. Perhaps I should just a few times. I "run" a group called "Home Photographic Movie Makers" here in Brisbane. Some of us use the Linux movie editor called Kdenlive. What editor do you use? Some of people comments say that you inform people a little of the history which is great, keep it up. With my parents for about five years we lived in a caravan, one which was pulled by dads car so I understand your Vanessa a little. When did you purchase it? We will enjoy more of your videos. I am archiving them in a separate folder on a PC and Ext USB drive. If you ever loose any and need rthm, let me know. God Bless, Juan. ==================================================Gl ============
The old cemetery is interesting too
