People you should never drink water with minerals in it good or bad. This is actually common sense. Your immune system has a daily job of constantly removing contaminants from the body the tissues, the blood, the lymph, etc. your body is like a sewage system. You want to have distilled water I know people say that distilled water leeches good minerals from your bones that’s completely not the case. I would recommend a really good reverse osmosis water system, and check the bacteria count every month And get your minerals from your fruits and your vegetables. It’s that simple. Don’t add fake minerals or minerals to your water. Just get it through your diet. We never had to worry about water 40 years ago now all of a sudden people are thinking spending thousands of dollars on water is somehow gonna heal you, buy distilled water system or a really good RO system and be done with it. Water is meant to cleanse your system. Not hydrate if you want hydration eat fruits.

Thoughts on RO water?

My tap water is meh so I drink bottled water and now it turns out that bottled water is full of microplastics. Should i use RO with mineralization? Any advice?

I dont have what so called experts consider as high IQ but im very glad i build my house, repair my car engine, construct and build my own audio amplifier, do all electrical work/automation/heating/ventillation systems on houses etc.etc. Im not so good at these so called IQ test like putting round shapes into roud holes, square shapes into square holes, triangle shaped things into triangleshaped holes etc.etc.

So basically people judge how much to trust their potential business partner based on how much they like them from playing golf together from gut feeling rather than reasoning and logic.

I am looking into shower filters, but a good countertop filtration system that I use is “Simpure.” Runs on only 30w of power. My e-bike battery could power this for 3 days strait of nonstop filtering if electricity was down. It is also nice if this happened because I live next to a creek and could have endless drinking water

I have to use an API product to do water changes in my fish tank because tap water is dangerous for them. They literally live in water…that should be enough for us to know that we shouldn’t be drinking it without taking at least a few more steps! I also live in New England, our water is above and beyond. So wherever you are…do your due diligence!

Acids provide hydrogen ions (H+) and lower pH, while bases provide hydroxide ions (OH-) and raise pH. Water that has more free hydrogen ions is acidic, whereas water that has more free hydroxyl ions is basic. Magnesium and Calcium make the water more basic by contributing hydroxyl ions (OH-)
