Soooo, best thing is to place as many single doors as possible between your and your castle heart, and the teleporter if you got one on the ground. Then you want a base as high up as possible, the raid timer will run out before they reach the castle with your valuable stuff, that said, if you leave your red teleporter exposed you will give them a free entry to your castle core.

Ok, I'm surprised but it worked... kinda. When he had 20% life left, he just turned and walked away. I had to go down and chase him. But it was a peace of cake. I've used only Elden Stars incantation. Thank you so much!

First one of these I fought was in the mine for Moonveil, I made a beeline for the dungeon so I could get that awesome katana early… Every attack one hit me so after hundreds of deaths I learn how to dodge and pelted it to death with arrows. Ran into several more as my playthrough went on. I’m so sick of these things that I just looked for this cheese video up after I died the first time. Hope this is the last one… lol

This one was easier...I watched one where he used scarlet rot from the inside of that ruin but I just get punched through the wall

Much quicker (and easy) is to gallop back to the grace cave and blast him with rotten breath from near the entrance. Bonus is he also gets into a fight with the big octopus.

Thats not a glitch, when you hotspot a reload. It literally says somewhere you get bonus dmg and rate of fire for a short period of time. Its more noticeable with a quick firing weapon like longshots, those 7 bullets gun. Less noticeable with shotgun and arclight the 5 ammo weapons cause their base RoF is lower

Use you main fire button to catch the reload and hold it down to get several faster shots. Every rifle is slightly different for how many empowered shots it gets before you want to reload as well as what effect it is gaining during the empowered reload.

Not a glitch, literally the mechanic of the weapon 😅

He spawns Cursed Slime Toads now instead of just the little spider toads, and it becomes impossible.

Did they change this boss? I was just trying to beat him. I way outleveled him already with my gear score of 70. But he always spawned not only humans but also other werewolfs.

I used the Generals Scythe and the Slashers instead of a Crossbow. The Scythe's E is quite neat against him when you kite around the tree, with the bonus effect of AOE dmg to the banshees and a follow up Q from the scythe or the slashers pretty much 2-shot all the ads. Ward of the Damned is not a must, but basically will be mandatory in most bossfights later, so it's not bad to practise with it a little bit. For the dash I do prefer the Veil of Bones from the Unholy tree, the amplified dmg debuff on enemies in combo with Chaos Volley slaps. Always try to have the Generals Scythe equipped when using Chaos Volley for the bonus Spell Power and Crit

After Patch 1.09, run to the side of the mountain and jump up to a high ledge on your horse, then either shoot him with Bow & Arrow or bait him to fall

I cheesed it with the frenzied burst incantation, just kept zapping it from the high ground and waited for the madness bar to reset lmao

He's pretty tough. I struggled a bit even at level 69. On the first attept he was on ~2% health when his banshees sent me in fear right into the crowd of skeleton mages, banshees and archers that respawned in the village during the fight. Second time I had to escape and the third time went during the bloodmoon, but even that wasn't easy. Luckily he tracks you like crazy, so you can lead him away from the village and the main road and let him chase you around trees and rocks which gives some time for healing. The biggest risk is the panic run in fear from his banshees that may spoil your evasion.

NICE strategy... I didn't realize Torrent was available. I used "Frenzie Burst" incantation - which is great in that it has excellent poise (stance doesn't move, can't inadvertently drop off ledges when casting), excellent range, and damage. Just need to be sure you're enough Cerulian Tear (FP) flasks are allocated, because casting does burn through FP.
