this feature i believe contributes to the new tundra engine failures, turbo charged engines needs to idle for few minutes to cool down before shutting off. the v6 never had issues untill they were turbo charged. this auto stop is a dumb idea from toyota.
TIP: As long as you don't press the brake pedal all the way down, the auto start-stop feature will not turn the engine off.
There is No start/stop button on a 2024 XLE Nightshade Venza that i own. Dont know about LE or Limited models.

It's not a mandate, although it is incentivized based on CAFE standards. A vehicle can be made and sold without it but the manufacturers don't get their emission credits (aka money.) And yes, it sucks!
What about cars like the 23 RAV4 XSE that don't even ship with the damn button?

This isn't how to Turn It Off, it's how to postpone or delay it. Dumbest garbage ever. Or is Toyota going to add a monthly fee to disable it in the future? lol
Auto start stop is the worst! There are ways to disable permanently. David Woll has a video called Rav4 Gen5 Auto Start/Stop disable,fast,easy,free. It shows how to unplug the cable under the hood to disable it. Its a function put in every vehicle for mechanics safety to completely disable auto start stop from what I've read. Unfortunately it will stop remote start also. But I'm willing to loose that function.

Hello! Unfortunately at this time there is no way to permanently disable the auto start/stop feature. It must be done manually everytime.
