You forgot about the double-barreled shotgun on the second level.

I know the speckled light can look bad but thats a price worth paying for the lighting.

Yes, the pistol is perfectly accurate as long as you let it finish its firing animation, the next shot will be dead on you cross hair or wherever you are aiming. This is practically useless information, because other than this level where you are forced to use it until you pick up the shotgun, you will almost never use the pistol again. Play DooM how you want to play, I can't stand these DooM gate keepers who think classic DooM with its infinitely tall monsters, and no vertical mouse aiming is the only way to play, and anything else is just DooM blasphemy can go F themselves. Bunch of basement dwelling mouth breathing troglodites. SLAY ON BROTHER. SLAY HOW YOU WANA SLAY.

I like the included lights like lightbulbs. Doom 2 wouldn’t be possible to light like this without them.

The sprites look very weird with black pixels, could they maybe upscale them? Overall this is very cool though.

I understand that for some this is really interesting and something they look forward to, but imho this is a grave mismatch of style and presentation, and pretty much in the uncanny valley. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people who will enjoy raytracing in all kinds of games and maybe this will breathe new life into oldschool Doom, but this is definitely a HARD PASS on my behalf. I never thought I'd see the uncanny valley in low-end graphics, but somehow they managed to do that. Each to their own, I don't want to be a party pooper and deprive anyone of something that might make them enjoy their games (or even some of my favourite games), but definitely no... no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!
