Great job Doctor Tsegenet! It is so wonderful and encouraging to see some one with a clear goal and purpose to tackle a very serious problem that exists right where you were born and raised as well as globally. Very proud of you. True advancement is working along side nature not against it and what you are doing displays this fact beautifully.Very impressive!!

Forget Jesus?! That's not going to happen. The "universe" didn't come from nothing, it was spoken into existence by Almighty God. Please read the book of Genesis in the Holy Bible for more on creation.

Coyne: "God cannot know what is not 'knowable' (even for God)." Yea, I think that works out to a simple logical Tautology. And it's not really any meaningful limitation on God. It's clear that he also thinks (rather than believes) that "God (by definition) knows everything that IS knowable."

Even though one can pretend to imagine a Cartesian coordinate system in so-called 'Empty Space', one can never do ANY experiments on that Empty Space other than imaginary ones. Why? Because as soon as you introduce an observer, let alone instruments and photons/electrons, radiation, waves, etc. (necessary to observe/test), then that space is quite simply no longer empty. For Krauss or Coyne to attempt to imagine totally empty space devoid of ANYthing is foolhardy at best -- for either of them. Attempting to imagine a time prior to the beginning of all time is likewise foolhardy. I am a bit on the dividing line when it comes to the "Conformal cyclic cosmology" from Penrose, for example. I find Penrose to be unafraid to look infinity directly in its face. Krauss is more on the entertaining side than Penrose, for sure. But I do think both of them are incredibly brilliant.

He was very close to how I think with one great exception: I see things though the eyes of a predator whereas he does not. I love Jane Goodall but chimps aren't the predators we are. If they were they wouldn't be around. I see people attack a black friday sale as though it were a deer. One thing he doesn't realize is that the skill required to trap a fox is totally different than the skill to trap a beaver which is totally different than the skill to trap a raccoon. We are obsessed with problem solving in order to eat every day. Imagine eating every day if on the other side of a mountain there exists no animals you have the skill to get? He does mention our need for "causes", so he is close. Almost everything we do or own is ammunition for solving a problem. This has been bred into us. Your car, shoes, house, sidewalk, the tires on your car, your garage, all are solutions to problems. Name one thing at Walmart that doesn't solve some problem? Of all the babies or children who died in floods, tornadoes, plagues, famines, etc. None are your direct ancestors. That would be like saying your Grandfather died at 8, which is impossible. So how could you be so lucky? Because they were obsessed with problem solving and now you are. Money was invented to solve all problems, which is why everyone seems to chase it so much.

Less livestock, less burning of fossil fuel, keeping the soil covered with living root in the soil, that's the way to go. Add solar and wind for free energy and precision fermentation though biotech, and we would be good to go. Sadly, there is a lot of resistance. Even Jay doesn't want to abandon his cow, though clearly he supports free range and opposes factory farming.

You do not even need to be intelligent to figure out this climate cult is a compete scam, the purpose of which is to drain the proceeds of your work (money) from you to in turn stuff it into the pockets of the climate scammers. Here is all you need to know: 1) Based solely on the high priests of the climate scam own prodigious use of fossil fuels, none of them believe the BS they spray at you at every opportunity from: a) your public -education- indoctrination complex; b) the ever growing but otherwise useless government bureaucracy, c) the media misinformation complex; d) and the newly converted climate priests of our rapidly decaying Western religions. 2) None of these 'save the Earth' efforts will ever reduce the growing dependency on 'fossil' fuels (no fossils are found in 'fossil' fuels.) After Joe Biden's and his Marxist manipulators 3 year war on oil, US oil production is now at new record highs and sailing ever up upwards - you just need to pay a lot more to the climate scammers to use it; they are now your otherwise useless gatekeepers to your access to affordable energy 3) Its not just the USA, Africa Asia and South America want to use ever more -fossil- fuels just as much as the climate scammers love the stuff and they are going to get it and burn it; this cannot be stopped. Trying to stop them will only result in more wars; the politicians final last desperate grasp for power and money - and more access to energy for them. Wars are the major consumers of not only human lives, but -fossil- fuels as well. 4) The good news is that none of this is a threat to the Earth and its fickle weather patterns, they will remain as always no matter how much fuel the scammers burn.

"The conclusions of the IPCC, and presented in the language of the IPCC, indicate that it is simply incorrect to claim that on climate time scales the frequency or intensity of extreme weather and climate events has increased for: flooding, drought (meteorological or hydrological), tropical cyclones, winter storms, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail, lightning or extreme winds (storms of any type)."

One of the reasons why atheists are so impatient with theists is that it is so obviously obvious that there is no god. Eyes are useless when the mind is blind. Either god cannot stop natural disasters, which would make him impotent, or god can stop natural disasters but choses not to, which would make him evil, or god is imaginary. Therefore there is no god and never was.
