crap quality, I have replaced 2 of them now because the motor gets filled with water.
I put one in my inflatable boat under the aluminium boards, it works flawlessly, and NO OTHER pump could fit in that small spot!....

had 2 of these, both failed with in a year. I have a 4 foot deep bilge it was to hard for it. I have installed in other boats and they worked well. do not install below 1 foot of water line.

I saw online that your'e not supposed to submerge it under water. Is that true?
so.....with this pump installed at this angle.....when will it start? i mean how deep would the water have to be? 3 inches? 6 inches? I have one sitting in about an inch of water but even when i manually run it,it runs but doesnt pump anything out
It starts pumping when its fully covered, but keeps going for an extra 10 seconds or so before switching off. It cant prime itself unless fully immersed, but then once it starts pumping it will drain right to the bottom.
We wanted a video of it in use! Not the demo video! Maybe your not intelligent enough to video it in use on your boat.. or you probably don't own a boat and figured you could use the manufacturer demo vidoes to.get you some clicks.

A 12 volt battery used for a deer feeder will work fine. It's what I use on my kayaks
