    $3.29 for ethanol free. A little expensive there president $&@! head! It’s almost $6/gallon today here in southern AZ. Crazy how bad just gets to worse. Thanks for the video. It’s exactly what I’m gathering info on to do myself.

      Since my tractor is still under warranty I went with all New Holland oils and gear oils

    These are Disc ploughs mainly used in Australia. John Shearer brand in Australia had massive 30 plus discs. Mine I have a 5 disc Australian Napier. They really have not taken off in N.Z here as mould boards are preferred. czcams.com/video/RU-bMGt5f-Q/video.htmlsi=CqJsqaAKyJZE78G0

      @@jathomestead Nothing beats the beautiful flow of soil. I think in South America disc plowing is for deep soils.

    Is anyone having an issue with the mule turning over and over on a cold start? It will start , but after about 10 seconds and it’s rough at first until the fuel starts to flow. I’m a little confused by this cause it’s fuel injected , I do wait till the pump shots off before I turn the key. I put some injector cleaner in yesterday, I’m thinking I might have some bad fuel in the tank. I have 200 hours on it now, it’s. 2022.

      @17forever64, I haven’t heard of any fuel injection issues. Mine is not fuel injected, and my mule starts normal during cold temps. It very well good be some bad fuel.

      @@jathomestead I agree, I’m gonna go get some non ethanol fuel today and fill it up! We run it a good bit, that’s why I didn’t even think twice about using fuel with ethanol, but we have boat fuel here, so I’ll use that!

      @ D LMalley. You have to start the first roof panel dead center on the ridge. Every panel after that slides underneath each other.

    The latch in the center of the bed holds the bed up. Pull down and latch on the round frame bar.

    What is that device you used to stretch the fence? Where can I get one?

      @Fitz Jones, it’s just a 2x4 with a with a piece of metal, they bolt together to clamp the wire so you can stretch it. You find at almost any farm store. You can make one out of two 2x4’s and bolts.

      @Matt Hild, I used all New holland fluids for the reason the tractor is still under warranty. Now when the warranty runs out I’m pretty sure I will go to a generic brand of fluids

    Tire is backwards. Bar type traction tires go that way when they're drive or pulling tires, the other way when they're driven or pulled. It'll keep mud from collecting on it. Sweet plow. You can make scrapers for it if need be. Ground gets a little moist in the fall, go to town. Best regards from Indiana.

      You're quite welcome. In case you ever wondered why they were backwards on an old ground drive manure spreader or the rear wheels on a two wheel drive combine, etc. Not trying to be a know it all. Just passing on knowledge. I'll be expecting a good long video when you put it to work.

      I didn't criticize anything genius, I merely stated fact. Indeed that is how lug type traction tires work. I was just sharing what I know. Knowledge is power, you should get some.

    Those plows don't like hard ground. They will just roll across the top. I have seen people cut notches in the disc like a harrow disc. You probably don't want to do that being it was your grandfathers. Then again it might do fine. One way to find out...

      We are going to give it a try. Trying to get out cheap. If it don’t work out, I will try to find a cheap bottom plow somewhere. But my dad used it as a kid, plowed 20 acres for feed corn for their hog operation. So hopefully it will work out just fine.

    We always avoided debt like the plague. We often found if we saved up to purchase a item. by the time we got them money saved. Decided we didnt want that item any longer. When you debt free you no longer pay interest. Also you dont have to pay for insurance that protects the lender.

      You are very correct. We avoided like the plaque also. If people could learn to put off self gratification until they could afford it. They would be a lot better off and less stressful

      This disc had them also. They are no where to be found. We will see how it does without the scrapers, if needed I will try to track some down.

      We had one too, but got better results with an equivalent mouldboard (even more old school). We had pretty heavy going though, old overgrown and heavy soil.

      I know a lot of people prefer moldboard over a disc plow. My disc was free, so going to give it a try and see how it does. Thanks for watching

      @Chevy Driver, you are correct, the tranny and front diff calls for gl5. The AMSOIL severe gear in my opinion is a better oil for diff’s which is fine for replacing gl5

    I was only able to buy 4inch diameter treated posts and do you think I could still make an h brace fence? I could not find any 6 inch diameter posts in my area. I’m thinking it would be okay. I’m running it on a 172 x 127 feet field. Won’t be holding any livestock in it. Will primarily use it to keep them out.

      @JimmyStevens. You can see it in the video, but that come-along is hooked to a tractor. I use the tractor to stretch it tight than I get it a little tighter with the cone-along.
