This is excellent. You have a great tremolo. Nice and even. And the whole performance is very musical. IMO, most interpretations of this piece usually have one of two issues: either the tremolo is lacking or the parts without tremolo are played carelessly. As much as I love John Williams' playing, I'm not a hugh fan of his spin on this piece because of the latter. This is a cut above the rest. Bravo good sir!

Very nice! It's a difficult piece. There are a few sections that seem so modern to me, it's hard to believe it was published in 1610.

It depends on which edition you’re studying. Scott Tennant’s Pumping Nylon Easy to Intermediate Repertoire book has it listed as no. 2. I worked out of Michel Beauchamp’s new edition of Tarrega’s complete guitar works where he calls it no. 4. I’ve also seen it simply listed as Etude in e minor. It probably doesn’t matter that much. If you haven’t checked out Beauchamp’s edition it’s worth a purchase. Link should be in the video description. Thank you for engaging with and listening to this recording!!!
