You can do anything you set your mind too! There will just be a few extra bases you'll have to cover. You will have to know if this is a short term move 1-2 years or longer. I would contact the Spanish embassy in Eastern Canada and ask in regards to the visa process for you and your kids. There are tons of English schools in Spain always looking for teachers, or you can look into remote jobs as well. You also may need additional paperwork depending on the custody of your kids (if that's a factor - if not disregard!). Those are some good starting points !

Zaragoza is a beautiful city !

I lived in Spain a year and honestly could have stayed longer to travel other places in Europe. The food, culture, people and way of life in Spain is wonderful. Malaga had lots of Expat and travellers during the time I visited

I only lived for one year in Alicante but it was incredible none the less and I would highly recommend, even to visit.

just a quick FYI, the process will vary from person to person depending o. several factors like age, citizenship, length of time etc ! For myself, it took no longer than a month to find and solidify my au pair position. Visa probably took 3 months with processing time here in Canada. Hope this helps !

Hello! I have since moved back to Canada, however I had an amazing time living in Alicante and would highly recommend it to others. There is a well developed expat community there that you can connect with. For work, I recommend looking into English teaching as that may be the most efficient way for you to find work. Often the schools that hire you will also assist with the visa process.
