    This is really great food for thought - particularly bringing to light how there are broad intrinsic issues sewn into our culture around how we present and reward certain (masculine) styles of leadership, having long ago accepted that this is what "good leadership" looks like, rather than stepping back and seeing that this is just one approach, and that there are other, much more progressive and strategic approaches to leadership in today's world. It's not just about bringing more gender equity into the equation, although that's obviously very important and would naturally move the needle, but it's also about the clear and important need to keep evolving leadership in general.

    10.9 Percent turnover sounds about right. #greatresignation needed a term because if I just look at how DET is responding, it had definitely increased recruiting videos but there appears to be a push back on school to manage. Wonder when they will finally acknowledge we are at tipping point. Correct me if I am wrong but has the attrition rate in teaching more than doubled, it would appear so
