Memsource nailed it refactoring their product into something more simply. Tools always launch very simple and focused and then become bloated with dead leg features. Looking at XTM, you bloated nasty hog that huge LSP's love for some reason. (Good sales people? Backroom deals? Gentleman agreements?)
