[TAS] Celeste - Nutty Noon Full Campaign (100%) | 10:09.093
This is a 100% Clear of Nutty Noon, with a Full Clear of the A-Side, meaning all berries, cassette and crystal heart, as well as the B- and C-Sides, essentially being a true 100% of the map campaign.
Timings: 7:09.658 + 1:49.701 + 1:09.734 = 10:09.093 (single segment)
RecordCounts: 8424 + 1648 + 1136 + ~2000 rerecords from other files = ~13000 total rerecords
The concept for this TAS first came after the first TAS of the A-Side Any% i did, which was one of my first (actual) TASes where i knew what i was doing. in the years since i wanted to remake the TAS, knowing that there was a lot of room for improvement, but simply remaking the TAS would have been a bit boring so i guess i decided to do it all.
regardless this map deserves a lot more attention than it has, an actually insane amount of work went into all the art and keeping it faithful to the original game while having good gameplay. if you have any interest at all after watching it please go buy celeste, mod your game and download this map because it's absolutely worth it trust me
i've been working on this tas since before the fluoresce tas so it's been about a month. i definitely think that a lot of the movement has been improved over the old one and i managed to get better at finding optimisation. literally my routine for lunch breaks in school is just watching a video of the tas playing over and over and trying to look through all the overlapping hitboxes and triggers. would it be possible to lower the time to sub 10? possibly, 30 seconds is a long time but maybe doable but i want to release this before pride month ends and that would take at minimum another 2 weeks
likely will not be posting for a good few months after this so it would suck if this video blew up like the farewell one again and i'm not there to capitalise on it
kirby has a special place in my heart and i'm just glad this exists. thank you lotl / deano for making this. thank you too, masahiro sakurai and everyone at HAL Laboratory. please make another 2d kirby game for the switch 2 (my life is yours). happy pride month, celeste.

A bit of a noob here, but... HOW THE HELL. Can you pass through spike wall without dying?
its called a crouch dash, otherwise called a demodash, which shrinks your hitbox to 4 pixels tall during the dash, which is just enough to pass through the spikes (spinners) without dying. this means that its usually pixel precise, and usually only doable by TAS, unless you have a setup that gives you multiple frames to crouch dash
@@rosellarade So if I understand, there is a flaw in the spike kill hitbox about 2 pixel big/tiles. (which is also why you won't die if you barely touch a spike?) and crouch dashing at the exact height allow you to go in between tile? Despite the fact it looks jointed.
