Many tourists don't go to any other cities besides Budapest. Debrecen is much cheaper to eat and lodge. The city has a long history. The eastern side of hungary can be reached from here easily.

I was in Hungary for work in 2016 and took a drive one weekend. I saw something interesting off in the distance and was stunned when I came upon Sumeg Castle. It was incredible to walk through it and live the history in my mind. It actually felt smaller on the inside than it looked from outside. A wonderful memory!

Is that castle's owner the same man, that at Berlin congres was together with famous lord Disraeli was preoccupied to divide new liberated Bulgaria and to give more territory to Serbia ?
