Appreciate the video brother. My pops didn't know how to knot a tie but he could press clothes and shine shoes and boots to a mirror. His father who was a Korean War vet taught him to iron and shine shoes, pops goes to the military and applies the lessons there, becomes a paramedic in 1988 and always stood above the rest. I followed the same ambulance path and was always squared away and patients are always a little more calm and open up more when they see that you care about your appearance hence you must care about your patient care. I ended up at a station that they looked like shit so I bought a couple cans of starch, thrifted an ironing board and an iron and it definitely helped. I love watching videos on CZcams of people that take pride. Also if you're someone learning to press clothes or shine shoes or boots and you're getting frustrated just remember you're already a step ahead just by trying. I can do a mean shoe shine, I still fuck up pressing pants but I learn. When you're dialed in give back what you were so freely given. Much love everyone.
