For those actually looking to know how to properly grease a fifth wheel. You always start with the bottom so when you slide onto a trailer. It'll spread the grease upwards to the top of the plate. Also once every three months it's work clearing out that old grease in the grooves and put some new stuff in there. Also if you have any pin or rollers. Hit it with some pb blaster or nut cracker. It'll help your fifth wheel slide stay freed up and keep the grease from sticking as much to the inner workings. You are welcome.

We had a similar issue with our 1994 DT466 mechanical, turned out the fuel pump was mucked up with rust and the injectors were partially clogged 😅 I got it cleaned out and some parts replaced. It runs great again. Now since the NTA 855 engines have a common rail and the this one looks like it’s an NTC855 number 3? Run some sea foam through it and then see if your injector is working properly because it’s definitely fixable. I would love to see this old dog running strong

We replaced a drive shaft and a new seal but for some reason when we now put it in park…it grinds! We have no idea why replacing the components would of suddenly caused this! Any ideas?

Now Kurt, unspoken Dodge code requires that you keep your tow mirrors up and pull an iron mark sharp periodically, park it smack dab in the middle of the goddamn road, cmon back! Another trick to prevent rust jacking I learned from an old timer is to put a thick layer of grease or antiseize around all the bolt holes and the perimeter of the frame rails. Build up a thick bead and let the bolts squeeze it flat, it'll build up a seal against water and salt.

Hi guys! I have P052B and P0014 codes from time to time popping up. Does it mean I need to change 3 of these solenoids? Or just one? Thanks.

Cylinder head, 3406 now called A model. On the intake side is a casting number around number five. If it is a 7N1300, if you use it on high HP engines, the head will crack on top at a freeze plug around number five cylinder. If you put the 3406B in, you will have to extend the throttle linkage, extend the fuel line to the fuel transfer pump, number 10 hose. On 3406 fuel return, most used a number 8 hose. On a 3406B, the fuel return fitting has a orifice. It is how you get fuel psi. Cat sells fittings for number 4, 6 and 8. Power steering pump is a reverse rotation vs 3406 to 3406B. Mark the pump how it is assembled. Take the four 1/2 bots out and lift the head off. Take the middle ring (thin one) flip it 180 degrees and reverse your flow so your power steering will work an you don't have to buy a pump. Save your old crankshaft, some body might need it for a core.
