Congratulations on your lovely finished Yule sweater and Wee County Yarns cowl. So much work in them and you've made them so beautifully. I fell in love with the Wee County Yarns project from the first little pack of yarn you opened in the advent and really enjoyed watching you progress through it. I also watched the kits as they sold on the website, wanting to buy one, and when it got down to 2 kits left I thought I just had to get one of them or I'd regret it. A late Christmas present to me. all the best

Great podcast Becky and love all the colourwork! Just wondering if you know where to purchasae the JC Rennie Hawthorn colour on it's own? I imagine the advent probably didn't have enough to make the whole cardigan, but when I go the JC Rennie site to get a large garment amount, they don't seem to have it? The colour is stunning and the colour combo swatch for the Tioraidh is just beautiful <3

The yarn, Tioraidh, is Scottish Gaelic for Cheerio, its pronounced something like (really pronounce the ch sound) cheery. The cowl and yule jumper are amazing. Such lovely Xmas presents.

Lovely podcast Becky. Finally getting back into the swing of knitting/spinning/weaving after a fairly disastrous 2023. Only problem was that, yesterday, when I decided to sort through my stash, I discovered a whole bag of yarn , obviously for a designated project, only to realise that I hadn't a clue as to which project!!! It was hubby who came to the rescue 😂. He described very well, what he thought I had bought it for. He was correct! He obviously is more aware of what is going on, than I had realised!! Finished my Braids of Grass yesterday, so will cast on new project today! Yay!!

Thanks Becky for another great podcast. I love seeing your stunning Knits, you are inspiring me to finally have a go at some colourwork, but much simpler than the gorgeous Yule Sweater. A book that I just listened to on Borrowbox which I recommend is "The vanishing of Margaret Small" by Neil Alexander. A very moving novel based on a true story. Worth a look .❤

Good to see you again! I started following you and Ali and Belinda during Vlogmas.id never heard of Vlogmas before but I’m so glad I discovered it on YT. I am a beginning knitter and I live in the US. I read Murder on the Christmas Express along with you and my assessment was along the lines of yours and Ali’s. Perhaps Belinda has said something about it, but I don’t know. I’d read another book by the same author if it centered on Roz in her new life after retirement and as a grandmother. Best wishes to you and yours. One of our grown sons is living with us while working remotely and saving to buy a house.as you say, it is wonderful to have him with us.

Hi and Happy New Year dear Becky - that was just so very enjoyable 😊 I love your Yule jumper and I took great comfort in the fact that others take a longer time for such very special knits - just this afternoon I finally cast off the collar of my “Twisting Paths” cardigan which has panels of quite intricate cables. What a pity that you couldn’t get gauge on the Ella Gordon vest but I totally agree with you re ditching it - besides the Kate Davies cardigan is totally gorgeous. I have her “Sark” book with half a dozen projects from it lined up! Have a great time as you head towards Spring - here in Tasmania we’re having a very changeable Summer - horrid wind and rain as I speak - only one more month to go before we can breathe a sigh of relief that we’ve had no bushfires!

All your work is so lovely. Thank you for reminding us that half the winter is almost over. In Pennsylvania USA we had very low temperatures as most of our country did. We were dealing with snow and ice. It is above freezing again so it is much better. I have been working on quilts. My current one was started in the early 1980's before all the current tools we have now. It is taking so long. Some projects like your Yule sweater are worth the extra time and effort. 🤗

I love it when one of your videos pops up in my feed. I believe this is the second sweater you’ve knit called “Eclair,” the first by Karen Fernandes. I loved that sweater so much that I bought the pattern and yarn. For some reason I had a hard time attaching the second side of the split seam (it just doesn’t seem right), so it has sat in time out for months.

I love that colour work jumper finishing, it is stunning. I felt exactly the same re The Murder on the Christmas Express, a book that left you with so many questions. I think it was the Christmas Express just so they could get stuck in the snow
