I don't buy Levi's anymore because they added stretch to the 514 and they also changed the cut of the 514. I have several old pairs, all 100 percent cotton with the "slim straight" tag sewn on inside of back waistband, and tags all say "made in Mexico", Levi's stopped making these so I stopped buying their garbage jeans. When these have to be retired I suppose I'll buy Lee

Nice video. I have a Fred Perry M2 polo, which is made in Leicester. The CMT is done in one factory and the fabric knitted next door in an adjoining factory. I bought one because I wanted one that was made by people who actually give a f**k about what they are making, rather than a mass production Chinese facility, where they are paid piece rate per thousand and therefore couldn't care less what they are making, as long as it goes through quickly. The Leicester factory actually makes polos for other companies, that don't have the same brand reach that Fred Perry does. So they are priced a lot lower than Fred Perry. Community Clothing, based in Blackburn are a good example as they are quite open about where in the UK and which factories their clothes are made and their polos are also made in Leicester.

I own both FP and Lacoste but have found the fit of FP polo better,its slimmer and just the right length whereas the Lacoste one is looser and longer in length.My FP polo is M3200 which is made in China and the Lacoste one is made in Venezuela.I think FP's M3200 style is entirely produced in China.Overall i reach for FP more than Lacoste mainly due to the fit.I also love the twin tipped design aesthetic which is absent in Lacoste.

If logos are shown in the right size is OK, nothing wrong otherwise what can you do if you're driving a luxury car or wearing a luxury watch , more important than logos is whether the piece suits your body and fits right.

I used to avoid logos at all costs, but have been buying more items with logos on lately. It actually seems like they're more difficult to avoid these days? Sometimes I like wearing them, but for the most part I tend to pick 'logo-less' options. I definitely don't like wearing multiple items which have logos on in the same outfit, it can look awful IMO.

Great video. I started wearing RL polo, and my Lacoste polo shirts, shirts again last year. They are easy to pair with casual trousers and shorts. As for the logo or no logo debate, I’m a GenXer. GenX liked logos on their clothes. Millennials like you, are not into logos, you are sold on whether the item is vegan (just kidding 😊) or sustainable. An excellent honest review! An interesting mention of the history of some of those who have worn certain Fred Perry polos. Even these days, in the UK, I find that Fred Perry polo shirts are associated with a certain type of "wannabe gangster" man. Which is unfortunate, so I buy Ralph Lauren

I don’t prefer logo-on clothes neither. Putting brand logo on goods is one mean of marketing communications. As a customer, we should not help the brand to do their marketing for nothing 😊

From experience of many From both brands both hold up very well but in different ways , if you like heavier material that doesn't flex with your body shape it will be FP , Lacoste on the other hand is much softer and lighter but the shape will loosen up more.

I’m an American GenXer. I was a teenager in the 1980s. I like my RL Polo and dress shirts, with and without the little polo logo. I also like to wear Lacoste polo shirts, with the little alligator. I also like to wear the little Warthog logo found on the All American “Britches Outdoor” “The Heavy Duty polo shirts 😊. When I wear these shirts, I don’t wear anything else with a logo 🎉

Actually, I think the gentleman from Belarus had the most relaxed style and I was so impressed that he made his own jacket, which is a wonderful color and cut, paired with the dark blue shirt, his glasses and hairstyle, he was, is, the very nature of casual, effortless, elegance. Also his joy was very, very attractive, maybe the cigar and drink in one hand also. Everyone was once again harmonious beauty. Glad to hear it wasn't just me. My tencel shirt gets stretched a lot from wearing it a single time. Then it drapes very poorly over my frame. I put it in the dryer to hopefully shrink it back, but it made the collar very crinkly and it just doesnt look good. The feel is nice, but I much prefer the merino. However it seems they need to be washed extremely carefully, as both of mine developed small holes...

Joe Merino - I've tried a lot of merino brands and so far Joe Merino has the best quality for the price that I have found i.e. great value. They also hold their shape better than some more expensive brands like John Smedley etc.

may I know if you will craft a content about hat/cap and gloves? as a person live in PRC, it's hard to access good producers on hat/cap and gloves, since the market is very niche here. the only producers list I know is BORSALINO, CHRISTYS, LOCK & CO and AGNELLE. but I believe those brands are overpriced, aren't they?☺

I am a person from PRC😁 allow me to share with you some reasons ppl here will spend fortune on luxury brands even with one of the most highest taxes rate in PRC. 1, most ppl don't know they pay taxes to government directly in PRC, and government do whatever they want with taxes money. they believe they pay all the price-tag-money to the company. 2, most ppl don't know the value & price relationships here, they don't have etiquette knowledge about materials, craftsmanship, manufacturing, so they have no ideas about value. but they do know the price obviously, ridiculous high price means prestige to them. 3, most ppl don't know about wealth allocation, they just enjoy spending most of their money. actually the answer list will go on, it's really complex
